Genesis 20" Box Fan, 3 Settings, Max Cooling Technology, Carry Handle, White (G20BOX-WHT)

After years of service, my thrift store Holmes fan just stopped cold, gone to fan heaven. I just had an operation, so no store shopping for another 25 dollar box fan. Amazon Prime to the rescue! I ordered this, never hearing of this brand before. I couldn't be more pleased! This fan is as powerful on the medium setting as my old one was on full! The fan has consistent RPM's and moves a considerable amount of air. It's a lot more efficient that I expected. Nice big front control dial, good carrying handle location and cord storage. Clever swivel out feet, too. Yes, it's a little more expensive than ones you get at Wally World, but it's worth it... and delivered to your porch!

I love the sound on low for sleeping. It has great air flow. It's lightweight. The attached feet give it stability. My old fan died during the night. In the morning, I started reading reviews. I ordered it that day and (the BEST part) it arrived 4 hours later!! I live in Arizona and we have already had numerous days over 110 and a new record breaking 118 degree day! Yes, it's a dry heat, but anything over a 110 is HOT. 118 degrees is just plain brutal. This fan is playing an important part in keeping my bedroom cool. I'm very happy that I purchased this fan!

A great powerful fan I purchased for multi use to move air around my smaller house. It works well to blow air out of the window when cooking and helps circulate air in a room where central air AC isn’t great. It is loud (those blades are goin’!), even on the lowest setting but that’s not bothersome unless I’m trying to watch TV with it in the same room. Agreed with another review, the carrying handle positions is quite odd. I thought it wouldn’t bother me but it does! It’s super light weight but can be awkward to maneuver so the two handles at the top make sense, this is truly just an odd design. Otherwise, I like the fan and would recommend it for the uses I outlined above!

I'm a 66 year-old southern woman and like most of us, my box fan is on 365 nights a year unless we've had a hurricane and the power is out. So I know box fans. This one is more powerful than any I have ever had before. All three settings are higher than the highest setting on my last 20" box fan.It's quiet except for the speed of the blades.If you seriously need to move the air and you don't mind having your hair rearranged overnight, this is the fan for you.

Works better than I thought it would. I don't hear a lot of noise, so I'd say it's quiet. Weird handle placement, and in a few months, when cleaning is necessary, I'll see if they can be placed at the top.

Surprisingly good fan for the cost. Our house takes a direct beating from the sun and this cooled down our living room. Admittedly, our house is about 1100 sq ft so it’s not huge and this probably won’t work as well in a huge space. Definitely a solid win for us.

This is the worst fan to get if you have pets and use it to keep cool during summer, it blow nice when it completely clean but like in 2-4 day, it gets so dirty so fast and loses the airflow fast as the grills( both front and backs) are small spaces that it gets clog with dust and fur super fast. Now as for cleaning, it is not even easy to clean as it not easy to take apart since there is barely any instruction on how to take a apart. In the manual guide that is provided on here this is what is say"1. Be sure to unplug from the electrical supply source before cleaning.2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.Thoroughly to remove soap film with clean water.3. Be sure not to make water or other liquid enter inside of motor".As you can see it does not provide information on how to take apart for cleaning. I have been trying to take it apart for around 30-60 mins. the only thing i manage to do was unscrew the only screw that at the bottom after that, i had assume you just slide the grill out from the bottom but it would not move. Hell I tried using alot of force that it feels like im about to break it. Honestly im just gonna just go ahead and just break the damn thing because of how bad this is. the fact the it get clog super fast that I would have to clean every 3 day just to have a decent airflow is not worth the trouble trying to take it apart and not worth the money. i would have return it if i had the extra money to imminently replace this fan with something else but when i bought during summer, i could not wait long for the refund and would take about a week or so because I needed a fan as I overheat easy and dont have an ac to use to cool down and wont have extra money for another 40 days after buying this. I would have just gotten a fan from walmart for around $15 which has so much better airflow then this and easier to take apart despite there would be 4 screws to unscrew. the reason I bought this cause i thought it would be soo much better airflow than the fan you can buy from walmart, thinking it would be an upgrade. Nope was so damn wrong it was a downgrade that costed $30. such a waste of money and time
