Wine Aerator Pourer by VinoMAX

The other reviews give a detailed description of how this aerator works so I won't duplicate their efforts.What I did want to emphasize was the above average aeration of this wine-o gadget. Obviously decanting will have a similar effect, but this aerator definitely performs well above others I have tried. To validate our purchase we compared our Rabbit aerator with this one. We were very pleased with the results. Although the former opened up the aromatics very well, there was still evidence of remaining tannins that had yet to be softened.Using the Vinomax, however, brought a particular CabSav to a sweeter aroma with less upfront tangy fruit, and even helped bring a more velvety finish. It is not a fast pourer, but every moment it takes to pour is bringing that much more enjoyment to your wine! I wish I had a chance to compare the Vinturi with the Vinomax, but I would take an in-bottle version anyday over an awkward pour.A win for Vinomax for sure!

While I ordered the pourer which attaches to the wine bottle, what I got was the normal wine filter that you hold while pouring into it. I did wonder why the price dropped so drastically when I finally decided to place the purchase but decided to just go with it. Well, now I know. However it aerates the wine well and everything tastes lovely and the price was excellent and it doesn't leak.It does what I need it to do and was an excellent price.

I would give this product five stars but it leaks horribly after using it to pour a glass of wine. At first I didn't know it was going to leak and then I picked up the bottle and there was a ring on my countertop. Not sure how to fix the problem because I wipe after pouring each glass and it still leaks. Really like how the wine tastes though. Bought a second to give to our son but will wait to buy another to see if the leaking gets fixed in a second generation of the product.

I read a lot of reviews of various bottle-top aerators before deciding on this one and was very disappointed. After the first use, the device leaked at the seal where to two halves connect. No matter how we readjusted or tightened, it leaked quite a bit. Every time we used this, we ended up with a pool of wine under the bottle. I finally threw it in the trash in frustration when I realized I was past the return date.On the other hand, it did do a good job of aerating the wine. I'm still looking for a good aerator.

Aerates the wine very good but leaks constantly despite following the instructions. We have an older similar aerator that doesn't brake apart for cleaning which is why I bought this new one but at least it doesn't leak.

Work good the first month, then the gasket broke and it leaks like a sieve all over the place. Tried to contact Vinomax for a replacement gasket and they never responded. Now it's just a door stop. Too bad Vinomax has zero customer service.

The unit worked fine the first 2 times. The 3rd time of use, it slipped out of my hand and fell @ 10 inches onto the counter top. The graduated plastic insert came out. Its made of very thin, cheap, plastic. The bottom, or stem portion of the unit which is made of thicker plastic was also chipped and a half inch piece broke off.

I purchased one for myself about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. Ordered this one as a Christmas gift to a fellow wine lover! It really does enhance the flavor of the wine plus preservers any left over wine.
