I am very mechanically inclined, but it took me a while to diagnose my leaf blower not cranking. The old flywheel stripped out causing the flywheel to rotate some relative to the shaft. The magnetic pin was not aligned with the shaft anymore so the engine timing was all wrong. I replaced the flywheel with this one and it cranked on the very first pull. Saved an otherwise good blower from going to the trash.

There are good videos on you tube. They tell you getting the new key way in is a true test of your patience!! Glad I knew that … I got it on the 23 rd. Attempt. But… it runs like new now!!!All worth the frustration!

Ordered this part a bit skeptical. When I recieved the part I put the part in my echo blower buttoned it up went to start it and started right up with no issues!!!! Love it

Used as designed, satisfactory results

I used this to replace the poorly designed plastic flywheel with the cheap key-in-broach design. This flywheel has the same external dimensions, but didn't fit my crankshaft taper properly so I was unable to get it to fully seat. Upon reassembly, the flywheel face caused mechanical interference with the blower housing. I gave the whole unit away for parts and bought a Stihl
