Had my home 250 about 8 weeks now and am very happy with it.Initial setup was a bit of a pain but used a network lead and that sorted any problems, the app isn’t the best I have used but once setup it works.I am a Qobuz user so streaming music I use the new connect and use the Qobuz app for all music streaming.I use the HEOS app only for radio and local music files stored on a hard driveThe sound from the speaker is amazing for such a small device and I will be adding a second at some point for true stereo

At the time of purchase the Denon 250 was retailing at £449 from Denon and Currys.Not sure I'd pay that for it but having got it new from Amazon for £349 I'm more than happy with the price and it's performance.Overall a nice sound. Set up was easy.I have it wired direct to my router, so that may have helped make set up a breeze.The Heos app takes a bit of getting used to.

Good speaker sound. HEOS iPhone support sucks!- volume control has a granularity differential with the iphone volume control- playback using Apple Music app cuts out after 10-15 min (can sort-of work-around by running HEOS app at the same time)- Sometimes forgets device configurationBasically the experience with HEOS is making my primary use case for this product aggravating at best. Great when it works. Sucks when it doesn't, which is unfortunately rather often.

As a purchaser of Denon products in the past, I wasn't at all surprised by the quality of my latest acquisition. Having lived with the speaker for over a week, this is a really easy 5 stars. Sounds great, looks great and integrates with our Alexa devices perfectly. Really love the quick select buttons for our favourite radio stations. I'll be adding more around the house for sure. Very happy.

I bought this as my main speaker for a room. It works very well. I like the look, the sound, how it is used. There are however some issues, which I would have preferred to know before purchasing:- I have all my music stored in MS cloud. The app, which you have to use to play the music does not allow a connection to cloud.- When I play music from my phone connected via Bluetooth, it keeps cracking ... I would say about every few seconds.- When playing music from my phone, it does not recognize my playlists from the phone - really annoying.I am impressed with the selection of radio stations in the app, which I listen to regularly.

The media could not be loaded. I've had this since December, I had a normal echo and was constantly unimpressed with the sound quality as this became the main way of listening to music in the house.The sound quality is perfect on this for what we need. The bass is not overpowering like on some other Bluetooth speakers I've heard. A well balanced sound all round.The motion controlled light up buttons are a cool feature to show friends, but really you don't need them with voice control.

I don't know if it's the system itself or airplay from Apple but it doesn't work properly all the time and can be very frustrating especially when you are using multi room speakers and they don't play in sync or the actions you do on your phone take 5 seconds to actually respond. definitely expected more from Denon

Bought one, within an hour of plugging it in i bought a second. Build and sound quality exceptional. I was very dubious as to whether having two would give me propper stereo, afterall how could it when each is self contained and no central amp or avc. Switched them both on and as if by magic two separate speakers start operating as stereo speakers with clear separation. Not cheap but I'd recommend getting two, the quality increases beyond x2, if you get my meaning.
