Nature Inside: A biophilic design guide

Bill and Catie created a magnificent book! It's a wonderful treasure of beautiful photographs and rich content, inspiring insights and stories, and practical guidance supported by strong research evidence. And just when I thought I had reached the end, I discovered the Toolkit Appendix. WOW. This book is a fantastic resource for both practitioners and educators. For years, countless people have looked up to Bill and Catie as brilliant and inspirational leaders in our field. Yet the extensive Acknowledgements section also reveals their humility and attitude of gratitude as they shine a light on the strong community they draw their own inspiration from, and that many of us feel fortunate to be a part of. I encourage you to buy at least 2 copies as a start (because as soon as you read it, you’ll think of friends you want to give it to – now or for the holidays). Then read it while sitting in your garden, on your porch or curled up on window seat - anywhere that offers a multi-sensory connection to nature. In this comprehensive and beautifully illustrated book, Browning and Ryan present a clear and compelling case for biophilic design. The contents are well organized with useful tools, illustrations, and examples at residential, commercial, and community scales. The generous and scholarly documentation of reference materials is also a great asset for any student, from the beginner to the advanced practitioner. As a bonus, the perfectly bound printing is of a quality rarely found today.

Me ha llegado con las esquinas del libro un poco dobladas, como si el libro estuviera usado. No sé si habrá sido por el transporte o porque es de segunda mano (aunque lo compré como nuevo). Como era para un regalo, no he tenido tiempo para devolverlo...
