What is the difference between hw and sw #13 molding?

#13 Standard (SW), 0.076” ID x 0.122” OD -- most common type used in the majority of earmolds #13 Dry Standard, 0.076” ID x 0.122” OD -- coated to help prevent moisture build-up inside tubing #13 Heavy Wall (HW), 0.076” ID x 0.130” OD -- thicker type, good for use with high power BTEs #13 Super Heavy Wall, 0.076” ID x 0.142” -- very thick, good for use with super power BTEs (*earmold must have been built originally using this tube due to the outer diameter dimension...will not fit in molds not built for this size) ID = inner diameter; OD = outer diameter

How do i determine what size will fit my resound canta aids?

Tell them what size u need. I am pretty sure they have all different size n u can also send the pictures of the size u need they can work with u

Are these considered moisture free?

I have no problems with them- they function just like the ones your audiologist would give you, only much cheaper in price. You should take the same level of care as you would other tubing. Keep dry and use a dryer (cup, electric, etc. overnight)

What size (diameter) is the tubing? is there a standard size? i have a starkey bte hearing aid.

The tube OD is 0.13". The tube is rather thick and difficult to get on and even harder to get off it you leave them on until they are hard. Other than that I have had no problem with them. I wear Oticon BTE aids.

These tubes are great and fit my BTE's very nicely! As others have suggested, the best way to learn how to trim and fit your tubes is to check out videos posted online for them. I've been buying my tubes and fitting them myself for years, and only started buying them here on Amazon within the last 2 or 3 years. The seller of these tubes are quick on delivery, which is a definite plus!

Perfect, these are the same tubes my Audiologist uses. They are quite expensive though, wish I could get 1 for each dollar.... only reason for 4 stars.

Great fit heavy duty

These tubes are the better larger OD and improve sound transmission for me. Easy to install to earmold but I advise to add a spot of glue to the section that goes inside the earmold so you don't pull it out of the earmold when you try to tke the earmold out of your ear.
