Super Warm and Stylish
I bought these for my granddaughter, who lives in a very cold part of the country. (It was -5°F, this morning 11/28/23, where she lives). She loves them and said they keep her feet toasty warm, on her way to and from school. She also let me know that, all her girlfriends at school are envious. I love the Sorel brand and personally, would never own, or gift, any other winter boot. These met or exceeded, my expectations. And the Black Friday discount, didn't hurt, either!

Be advised there's no zipper.
I got these on a super warehouse deal I couldn't pass up but they are a bit of a pain to get in and out of. You can't beat Sorel for warmth and waterproof. They're kind of big and clunky but they're pack boots so...Next pair I buy will be less "packy".

Gorgeous
They are perfect and I can’t wait to wear them in Utah with my snow bib. I’ll update the review after use. For me, they were true to size. They are rated for very cold weather so I plan to wear them with a normal sock. I could see someone with a wife foot or who likes more room going a half size up. I feel a whole size would be huge.

Gorgeous boot but...
Everything about this boot is awesome but the front end of the toe shaft curls upward...this forces the foot to flatten the arch...the boot is roomy...I wear 7.5/8 and the 8 is roomy enough for thick socks. It's a well built good looking boot...I may get arch inserts to see if it'll correct the fitting...

Uncomfortable but warm
These boots are so stiff! They are not the most comfortable but we recently had 10 inches of snow and my feet were warm. My boots had enough room to wear wool socks.

These run small
I bought these at a great price on Amazon - $85 - brand new! Could not believe my eyes! They arrived and were very well packaged with the boot box inside a large Amazon box.I was super excited but disappointed - even though I sized up, they were very tight with just ankle height running socks on. Not a chance would I have had of wearing thicker winter socks in them.Unfortunately the next size up again was the normal full price $200 or so, so I did not buy those and thus cannot review how they do outdoors and/or in winter

Great functional boots
I sized up one full size as recommended. Snow boots are not a fun purchase, I know many say these are stylish, but really in a foot of snow function over fashion is my goal. These fit the bill, and then some! Save fashion for my stilettos 😀.

boot liner too small, runs short in the toes
I really liked these boots, but they do run short. I wear a size 9 and the size 9.5 ran short in the toes. The boot liner actually runs shorter in the toes than the actual boot by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.I have a pair of the Sorel Tofino boots in a size 9.5 and have plenty of room for my toes but they do not have a liner. So these actually fit shorter in the toes b/c of the liner, but are wider in the foot.I wanted something a bit heavier and warmer than the Tofino's, so thought to try these. But since they run short in the toes, order at least a full size up!Also I compared these to an older pair of Sorel short boots with a removable liner, and found: the outer rubber on the older Sorel boots was thicker, and the inner liner was thicker and provided more warmth. To compare further, I put one of the Sorel Tofino boots on one foot (size 9.5), and one of these Sorel Joan of Artic boots on the other foot (size 9.5) and not only was this boot shorter and wider, but both boots provided basically the same level of warmth: and the Sorel Tofino boots do not have a removable liner. So I was disappointed that the Sorel Joan of Artic winter boots had thinner rubber on the outside of the foot, and a thinner interior liner than some older styles; and did not provide as much warmth. While they look very attractive, they only seem to offer warmth for milder winter conditions, and not for extreme cold like the older Sorel boots with removable liners. Very sorry about this, Sorel!

Provateli prima in negozio.

Too big
The boots are too big and the front is like a clown shoe, so not very feminine and not a good fit for me. I ordered a size 39 and normally wear a size 38.5, but I planned to wear thick ski socks, so I opted for the half size up and it was far too large and I sent back.

Order bigger size
It says to order your exact size but I found that my exact size was way too small. I ordered a second pair and ordered 1.5 size bigger and it fits. The advertising says that it fits your size but that is untrue. I ended up giving the smaller pair to my daughter. Love the boots though!! The new size fits perfect and they are warm and comfy

Even better than anticipated
I’ve been coveting these boots for years & just got a new coat so decided it was time to finally take the plunge & get me some Sorels to match. Yay for meeeee!!!!! 😃I’m normally a size 7.5 - 8 so went with an 8. The fit is perfect with just enough room inside the liner for a pair of sheepskin insoles for extra cushion, warmth & to (hopefully) prolong the life of the liner.I was kinda nervous to order online based on the many reviews stating the difficulty folks were having with sizing & getting these bad boys on & off. I’ve gotta say…I had zero issues right out of the box. I just loosened the laces all the way down, slid my foot in easy as can be, then tied the laces loose enough that I could get them off again. Now I can just pull them on or off without fussing with laces (or zippers for that matter)…exactly what I was hoping for!If you find that your heel slips a bit, I do recommend that you have the laces tighter for the lower two loops then do a knot in the laces (to keep the tightness) before threading the laces through the rest of the loops more loosely.I’m digging the fact that these have a sturdy leather loop at the back making it easy to slip a finger through to give it that final tug when putting them on. There is also a hidden dome inside, just below the loop, that fastens the liner to the suede upper so it stays put when removing the boot.As far as performance goes, this Canadian girl’s feet (& calves) are toasty warm & dry when trudging through deep snow in -25C temps or slopping across a slushy parking lot.I’m so pleased….LOVE these boots!!!
