Helps my hand, easy to adjust to
I had to borrow a coworker's desk spot for a week in December, and she had one of these. It helped my hand much more than I would have expected, and I found it rather easy to adjust to. I've used trackballs in the past, but my thumb tendonitis has been getting bad, and sometimes my first three fingers and the back of the hand that moves them really hurts, though I haven't had it looked at yet. In January I asked work to get one for me too, and I've been using it ever since. I like it so much I decided to get one for home too.

This took me about 90 seconds to get used to
After I began suffering from wrist tendonitis, I realized my regular mouse was likely contributing to it. As the type of work I do at the computer involves a lot of mouse work, I decided to give this funny-looking one a try. Initially it was awkward to use, but that feeling of awkwardness went away immediately. Now, when I use a regular mouse it feels like my wrist is unnaturally twisted and I can't wait to get back to using this one.And my wrist issues are much better!

It feels comfortable, but the scroll wheel is awful.
I was advised to try this mouse after acquiring tendonitis in my elbow. It seems to have helped with that -- at least a little. The two main issues I have with it are the scroll wheel, that is very unreliable about which direction it goes when you turn it... it's almost random. Also the mouse sticks up in the air so high, I'm constantly knocking it over, or knocking it off my desk just from moving my hand from the mouse to the keyboard and back. There's got to be a better ergonomic product than this. I rate it as only "acceptable."

Excellent but I wish it were wireless
Incredible ergonomic mouse that alleviated wrist problems accumulated during a STEM PhD filled with small repetitive motions (pipetting, etc). Strongly recommend. Only negative is that it's not wireless and sometimes after I unfurl the wire from the mouse prior to use after storage, it stays in a position that makes maneuvering it around my laptop kind of awkward.

Latest about a year
Worked great...for about a year. Suddenly got a hardware peripheral error and I could not get the computer to recognize it again. I'll pay an extra $10 to Logitech for the reliability.

This is the top rated mouse, give it a week and you will grow to love it!
This is the top rated mouse! I have had half a dozen for a number of computers over the years but this is the first one I got that has a cord. I got tired of changing batteries. It takes a little getting used to but once you do you will discover the hand positions are normal, give it a week and you will never go back to the standard mouse. Excellent product and I am going to order another one right now.
