Whether you're a "fan" or not, Buck has been nothing but a positive role model for trans youth since he transitioned himself and, in these increasingly "woke" and hypersensitive times, where everyone with cotton candy hair is actively seeking victimhood and claiming to be trans, he continues to be one of the sole voices of reason and sanity. His mission is the help trans folks get relief from gender dysphoria while keeping kids safe from people who refuse to acknowledge science and basic biology. Buck had an incredibly difficult time of it; we're the same age, and I clearly remember what it was like back then. Tomboy? Tolerated. Lesbian? Okay but don't be butch about it. Anything else was just not acknowledged. The fact that he made it out alive, and went on to have such a clearly healthy love for himself and to make pôrn that is affirming rather than degrading is awesome all by itself; but he used that success as a launching pad rather than a landing point to become a vocal activist for the trans community, many of whom are now trying to cancel him (because they're not actually trans, they're roleplaying, but it won't work).I'm just annoyed that Elayne is in here saying that SHE trusted HIM to "follow the rules," when she wound up cheating on him with one of her clients and then cleaning out the bank account. This documentary is so important in this day and age. It’s very important to show someone who struggled with his sexuality and came out healthy and happy. I’ve had two one on one conversations with Buck, and he truly cares about people and just wants everyone to be happy with themselves, no matter their struggles in life. I admire him sharing his experience, and would recommend to anyone having identity issues to reach out to him. You won’t regret it.

I guess it might be more interesting to someone struggling with his issues.

A great documentary about a profound man (with a vagina) who struggled to create and step into the man he knew he really was. Buck is a profound transgender role model and educator that uses his past struggles and learnings to literally change the world and the way people think about gender and sexuality.The documentary is sensitive, touching and real. You can't help but to be touched by his authenticity, caring and courage. He blows so many stereotypes out of the water... you can't help but be more expanded it.A must for anyone exploring gender issues or looking for greater self acceptance.

I think we are all fascinated by transgender. These profiles help take away some of the mystery and personalizes the individual. Buck Angel is one of those people that is doing that and hopefully helping those that follow. I feel like saying it's mid blowing, but also want to say that the more we get to know about people, the less mind blowing it will become.

first of all: Buck Angel Looks very good for being a Man. Hard to Beleive He was a Born a Girl. even when he was a child He didnt even look like a Girl! His Vagina Looks Like a small penis, My Opinion is It would be easier for him to have the bottom surgery, It would look natural, He has a big one!

A story of equal parts interest and inspiration, laid out in a well-paced and nuanced manner. Feels like a fair portrayal of all concerned, which can be hard to come by in documentaries about "controversial" subjects. Nice that the filmmakers could deal with sexual subject matter with frankness while avoiding any sense of being exploitative. I've been waiting to watch this for a while, and I'm glad I finally did! Don't wait; broaden your horizons today.
