Works as desired.
Works great. Easy to install, easy to adjust. The cheek riser is smooth and doesn't stick to your face or trap beard hairs.

Does exactly what I need
I recommend drilling your stock a little higher than you think you need to. Maybe put little foam between it and the stock for extra support if your hiking with it (might fall on it) but it’s stayed in place for my kids and me through a handful of range trips.

Cheap, easy, functional.
Cheap fix for a cheap gun. The comb on the Stevens 301 is too low to shoot properly with good form. This gadget fixes that problem for little money. Are there better comb kits? Yes. But they cost half of what this entire gun costs. Instals easily, works well, little cash. Am i going to put one on my Perazzi trap gun? No! But its great on a $199 China-gun that i shoot 3 times a year.

Meh ...
It does the job, it holds your cheek where it should be to align your eye with a scope's exit pupil. Which is what it's supposed to do.The plastic knobs used for tightening the whole thing up are soft and cheap material. They twisted off the nut they're supposed to grip for adjusting the cheek piece height and fell off in my hand. I couldn't get them tight enough to keep the cheek rest from sliding around in its adjustment slots. Thankfully they fell off at home instead of out in the woods somewhere. I ended up having to trim the ends of the bolts that were now dangerously protruding from the stock. Which doesn't look nearly as cool and professional as it would if the knobs just stayed on but ... It works. Now I have a cheek rest that does the job it's supposed to, looks cheesy and of course I also have two bolt holes drilled in my stock. So yeah, I'm underwhelmed. This is way overpriced for what it is.
