Used for my pond to clear the blanket weed and maintain the water quality. Although I still get occasional algae growth, overall the regular dose has worked better than any of the other products I've tried.

Having spent a small fortune over the years trying to get blanket weed under control, I decided to try 'Blagdon Clean Pond Pods' as a last resort.I've been using them for over 12 months now, no more problems with blanket weed, the water is not as clear as they suggested and no evidence that they feed my pond plants.The filter collects more sludge than before and needs cleaning more often, which is a good thing.It suggests that the treatment should e once per month, I clean my filter every week and treat the pond with 2 pond pods at least once very 2 weeks.Can't say that it does everything it says on the information, but it keeps blanket weed away which makes it all worth while.Compared to everything that I have used previously, it's a very good product and would recommend to anyone have blanket weed problems.

I have tried other blanket weed products over the years without any success in my fish pond. In July, after removing loads of blanket weed from the pond before hand, I used the pond pods for the first time. I now have a blanket weed free pond for the first time ever. I will definitely be using the pond pods from next Spring instead of waiting until the blanket weed appears..

I still have blanket weed after trying 2 packets. The water is now cloudy where before it was clear. However, I think the silt is not so thick and slimy. I followed the instructions.

I have a 330 gallon formal pond which has over time become over stocked with goldfish because of breeding.I usually have a big problem with blanket weed every year. I use Blagdon barley bugs to try to control it but it was a struggle. I saw these Blagdon clean pond pods and decided to give them a go, put three in a high flow area of the pond a month ago and also continued using the barley bugs. It’s not completely got rid of the blanket weed and I still have to use a soft sweeping brush to pick pull out the odd bits every two weeks from the bottom. But one thing I was really pleased about was that when I went to do my three monthly filter clean I found that the filter was clear and did not need anything done. Normally it’s totally blocked with mud. So for me that’s a win.

Took longer to work than expected but after using them all they have worked wellBut to be honest I think it's been a really bad year.But at least they do everything in one goWould definitely recommendBut not a quick fixBut months on and still clear

These pods are brilliant especially if ur having a problem with blanket weed it cleared it in less than a week,improved water quality and is totally safe for the fish. Its just a shame we can't get it delivered direct to Ireland unless you have a way round it 😉😉
