Christ's Will: Tarot, Kundalini, and the Christification of the Human Soul

An Inspiring Read
An inspiring account of the esoteric path. The author describes this path as a symbolic progression through thirty-three “chambers” – each chamber is related with a specific Tarot card, and has its own particular tests, lessons, and achievements.I found it interesting to read about the different tests and ordeals the aspirant faces on the path; it reminded me that the inner path of self-transformation is a “process” and a “work” – yes, sometimes we face trials and difficulties, but there are always lessons we can learn and wisdom we can gain. It helped me see the different events of life as lessons – so instead of reacting to them mechanically, we can instead look at them and think “what lessons can I gain from this situation?”, “what virtues or qualities is this situation pushing me to develop?”And I loved the ending of the book. The author describes how after the purifications of the “thirty-three chambers”, the human soul is finally linked and fused with God – it achieves union with the Great Unknowable, the Great Breath… and thus it enters into bliss. Some interesting quotes from the book:“Self-buddhic-evidence and self-buddhic-reflection allow us to take into our intuition concepts whose contents are transformed into divine intuits.”“Bachelors and bachelorettes transmute their sexual energy with music, devotion, prayer, and by loving God and their neighbour. With the might of sacrifice, bachelors and bachelorettes make the chi of their seven fiery serpents to rise. Sexual abstention is a tremendous sacrifice. Only the path of chastity and sanctity can lead us to great realizations.”“Indeed, there is only one Being, whose self is expressed as many. All Beings are within all Beings, thus we all are one Being within eternity. The sparks are detached from the flames in order to realize themselves as masters, and thereafter return into the flames. All flames are within all flames in the profundities of the innominate Atman, the universal Spirit of life, whose self is expressed as many, the Word.”
