Lawry's Seasoned Salt, 40 oz

I don’t remember getting this, but I always like McCormick products. They have some of the best product products. I buy only McCormicks products.

I love this large jar. I have used Lawry’s seasoned salt in my potato salad for years. It adds great flavor. I mix approximately (according to the size bowl of potato salad I am making) 1/2 cup miracle whip and 1/2 cup mayo, 1 Tablespoon each of Lawry’s seasoned salt, mustard, dill pickle relish, & sugar. This make a nice tangy dressing for the potatoes. I also use at least a tablespoon of Lawry’s in my home made vegetable soup.

Come on! It's Lawry's!!! Who doesn't like Lawry's. I've worked many restaurants in my youth and Lawry's has been a standard on the shelf. Toss some on a burger before it hits the grill, rub some all over a chicken massaged in olive oil, dust pork ribs liberally with it right as they hit the grill, sauce afterwards and enjoy, because it's Lawrys! It's been around longer than I've been alive so that shows some good quality, versatility, and longevity because I bet it will still be around after I'm gone.

Very good value for the money with the 40 oz size. I've been using Lawry's seasoning salt for years nd years. I use it every time I grill anything, indoors or out, including but not limited to pork, chicken, burgers, steaks, and vegetables. Givers all my foods a great color while it flavors. I especially like using it whenever I am using my George Foreman electric grill. Just shake it on and then cover using Pam cooking spray for best results.

I light this seasoning on my meats. I like the flavor.

Still good, but the last one I bought seems like it's gone through a formula change, just not as good.

I can't believe I actually bought this stuff in the stores. They charge half as much for less than a quarter of the product. Because it was soo expensive, I started buying proprietary blends of "seasoning salts" from spice sites around the net. Most of them were good and were comparable in price, but none of them were exactly what they were trying to emulate: Lawry's. Finally, I decided to check back to Amazon to see what the real stuff cost. I was shocked to find out that I was paying the same or more for imitation products. I immediately bought it and have never looked back. If you've never had Lawry's, you're in for a real treat. Many recipes call for "seasoning salt." Well, they are generally referring to "Lawry's' without mentioning the name. You can pretty much sprinkle this stuff on anything. It is great on fries; I mix it with flour and bread crumbs to coat chicken, It could probably be substituted for poultry seasoning.

Lawrys Seasoned Salt is one of the best but the catering size is to heavy to cook with. A regular size would have been far more comfortable to handle and that was what I thought I had purchased. Also one of the emails I received said that I should keep the Catering Size Seasoned Salt and AMAZON would refund the jar that was originally sent. To date no refund has been made. I await hearing from you. L. Green

Love this seasoning, used on Beef brisket before a 12 hour smoke. Tastes good on Chicken as well

I don't like my food to be spiced too hot so this seasoned salt is just perfect for me. It adds a touch of extra flavour without dominating the meal. I use it with most everything: in stews, omelletes, soups - you name it. It is also a great addition to air fried chips. Put a little oil in a bowl, add the seasoned salt and them toss in your fresh made or frozen chips, twirl them around in the seasoned oil until they are all coated, then put them in the air fryer and cook as normal. It adds a little bit of colour and great seasoning. I first came across this seasoned salt in the US and brought some home. It lasted a good while but I was devastated when it ran out and I was not planning to go back to America any time soon because of Covid. When I saw it online for sale online, I was thrilled. I bought a catering tub, so that should last me for a long time.
