This was a gift for my niece who is the ultimate Godzilla fan. She was thrilled and I also enjoyed the movies. Definitely would suggest everyone purchase and watch these if you have even a little love of monsters within you.

Watching Godzilla with my mom when I was a kid was one the few things we could do without arguing, that grew to a life long love for that over grown lizard. The Toho Godzilla features at first a less friendly version of our big boy but really solidified his look for coming decades. Putting all these movies together is a great idea, you dont need prior knowledge to start watching this collection since it reboots everything from the old black and whites. I had no problem with dubbing or using the subtitles if I wanted to and had no problems playing the disks on both a DVD player and my xbox one. Overall I think it's worth the money if your a fan or just saw the latest King of the Monsters and want more.

I can't wait to get Vol 2 of Toho's Monster films. I even got turned to monsterislandtoys.com which has all of the Japanese Monster films on VD and at swell low prices too. The Rebirth of Mothra films are very hard to find but this DVD collection has I and II of the trilogy. Hope the newest Godzilla, King of the Monsters remake film comes out on DVD soon. I no longer go out to theatres to see films. Too expensive.

My 4 year old son LOVES Godzilla and watches this ALL the time. We bought volume 2 first but after he learned about Destroyah from a You Tube video we had to get this one. He knows all the monsters names and knows exactly which one he wants to watch and when. He isn't too into the Mothra ones but still knows who she is and loves that he owns 13 GODZILLA movies (between the two volumes).

I like the classic movie But the one I have is good.

Some of these dvds are very hard to find. My wife abs grandson are Godzilla nuts. I don’t know who was more excited when they opened this but my wife was gracious enough to let my grandson have first pick

My wife and I like to watch really old movies, mostly from the 60's back to the 30's. The Godzilla movies don't have all the gore the newer movies have. It's much better to imagine the gore then to see it.

My grandson and I love the Godzilla movies. This collection is awesome. It has given us many hours of movie watching enjoyment together.
