Avedis Zildjian CompanyI Family Crash Cymbal (ILH18C)

As others have noted -- this is not an expensive cymbal. Given that, you shouldn't be too surprised if it cracks after a couple of years. Mine has nearly made it three years, but the crack slowly working its way from the center out to the edge has forced me to order a replacement.No issues with the sound. The durability is what it is for the price.

I've played mostly "A" Zildjians my whole life. I was looking for a trash crash and the ones I found locally either didn't have the sound I wanted or were too expensive. This is the first cymbal I've bought online without listening to it first-I figured since it's returnable I'd take a chance. Very glad I did! Looks great and more importantly sounds great! Tone is in between my 16'" thin crash "A" and my 18" dark crash Sabian HHX. Plus it has the rough trashy sound--nice contrasting effect.This is also the first cymbal I've ever bought that was in the original factory bag from Zildjian. Nice.I do wish Amazon had packed it better--mine arrived without problems but they literally just put the cymbal in a 2 foot x 3 foot x 5 inch box and taped it shut. No padding or packing of any kind. Amazon packers--you can do better!

The media could not be loaded. Sound quality was great and it durability was good because I smack the mess out my cymbals and it’s was very clean looking as well and good tone.

I've always been a big fan of Zildjian cymbals, and this one just has "you get what you paid for" quality. If you're just looking for something to beat the heck out of and practice on this one works but don't expect studio quality out of this cymbal.My cymbal clearly has weak points as it warps while playing and I have to push it back into place, doesn't really affect the sound but it's concerning given that I destroyed my last Pearl cymbal so I hope this one actually lasts a bit longer. It's a pretty thin build, to be honest I wish I would've just spent a bit more money for a higher quality cymbal but I give it 4 stars because it's honestly great value for beginners and it still has a relatively decent sound.

Added these to my nephews drum set, he loves them.

It’s cheap, but does the job to make noise and annoy the heck outta the neighborhood.

Never have used any other than the Zilgian
