Well worth the wait (which was much shorter the second time around, since there was no tsunami). In my experience there is no better fountain pen-friendly blank book of this type, meaning one that is designed as a daybook (journal or diary) rather than as a planner. Believe me I have scoured the Internet and this is the best there is. I love it, and have one-year, three-year and five-year versions. Very pleased with this purchase!

As expected from Apica and their top layer paper products. The looks are excellent. The binding is great. The paper quality superb.

It's a nice notebook with top quality paper. Waited a month. Just need a bit patient for its Japanese import.
