CreatexColors 5212-08 Paint for Airbrush, 8 oz, Opaque White

Let me begin by saying I'm fairly new to airbrushing, so I can only attest to my own personal experience. This product, along with the rest of this line works great. It's not going to work flawlessly the first time you use it. As with the art of airbrushing itself, there is a bit of a learning curve in it's use. White paint especially, for reasons I've yet to learn, are more difficult to get right. That being said, if used as directed, with the recommended additives, I've found this to be better than the few other cheaper competing products that I've tried. I'd recommend it.Now about the price. When I began buying paints I was taken aback by how small and expensive the bottles were. But, once I began using them, I found they actually go a long way - especially considering that you're adding reducers to it. If you're on a budget and need paint to practice with in the beginning, buy the cheap stuff. Then, once you're comfortable with your equipment and are ready to start laying down some sick "true fire" flames, buy the Createx. You won't be disappointed.

Very consistent product, I buy often !!

This paint works wonderful! It has fantastic coverage, using only one coat on most projects. It cures to a semigloss finish. Sprays fine right out of the bottle with no thinning using my 0.2 nozzle airbrush set at 18-20psi (1.24 - 1.34 bar). Once this gets low, I'll definitely be looking for more!

Been using Createx for years. Only one I use. Good coverage. Although, lately, they've apparently changed the formula of their paints, because they tend to form a kind of fuzzy "mold" on the surface of the paint in my siphon bottles when the paint hadn't been used for a day or two. I think it's because the paint is exposed to the air coming in through the siphon. Don't know for sure. But I plan to get the little red caps to put on the siphons to see if that stops it from forming. Still love the paint. I just hate having to clean out that film.

The paint is thick so that's ok and great price
