Utility and Value Comes Packaged Very Well
After doing the research, and having purchased this, I am pleased with my decision. This item works very well for my purposes in charging a number of different devices at the same time. I found that it quite quickly charges anything I plug into it.I was also pleased that the multiport charger didn't seem to get hot, even with all ports in use simultaneously. They seem to have thought of everything in designing this product, because even small cable organizers of the velcro variety are included for the electrical cord and the USB cables. The shortened USB 2.0 cables which are included all have the same connectors, that is they're all the type A to Micro-B connectors. These are shortened to less than 1 foot of length, and this is helpful in reducing the mess of cords that would be expected with any of those with regular lengths. Too bad another option in cables with the various USB technologies and connectors doesn't yet exist. The electrical cord this device uses is a standard length, and it seems to be heavy duty enough to survive a typical amount of regular use.The compact design of this multiparty charger is aesthetically pleasing, too, and this makes it a lot less unsightly than many others I've seen.Considering this is a top seller, I will expect to see more great products like this one with the Anker brand name in the future. The price is right at under $40. As far as I believe, it would be hard to beat this maker's product for less money.

Just what i needed for my DIY charging station!
As with all Anker products I have purchased so far I am very impressed with this product. I am building a charging station for all our gadgets in the house and i'm putting this inside of it to charge everything. It is small, compact, functions very well, and if it were to be out it looks good too. It has a nice matte finish that looks good and feels good in hand. The 6 port was the right size for what I need, the port IQ technology is great for me, sure you can never fully charge 6 iPads on this thing but for my use it is perfect, generally 2 phones and a tablet will be charging or my wife's fitbit and her phone along with a spare (Anker) battery pack. For anyone interested in using this in a charging station the AC cord unplugs from the back of it, and it is the standard 2 pin power cord so you don't need to drill a huge hole to route the cable, I used a 5/8 spade bit to put the holes in my DIY charging station. I think it works really well, the 6 1 foot cables that came with this unit were a bit too short for my use but they are good to stash away in a drawer for a future project as they seem to be high quality cables.Overall I am very happy with this product and will update this review if I have any problems with it. I would buy another at this point and I am planning to buy a smaller 3 or 4 port charger for our travel bag the next time they have a big sale

Pure safe charging power!
Holy smokes! Someone rig three of these together and see if we can jump start a small car! LOLAll kidding aside. I was really impressed with this charging hub. While it was bigger than anticipated, It is well worth having around. The first phone I plugged in for a test run was an older HTC wildfire. It was completely depleted and was charged quicker than expected. The charger has four blue lights on it to indicate how much charge is left in the unit. The HTC did not even touch the capacity of this charger. I had dozed off while watching the initial charging to make sure nothing bad happened since this is my first portable charger. When I awoke, the charge indicators on the unit had gone off and I thought something had happened to it. Much to my surprise, the unit had shut down after completing the charge of the HTC. The HTC wildfire was completely charged and I still had four blue indicator lights when I charged in my Sony Xperia phone for charging. After charging my Sony Xperia, I finally managed to take the charger down one notch. The charger or the phone never got hot while charging so next I plugged in my Dragon Touch E97 9.7-Inch Quad Core Android 3G Tablet PC Dragon Touch 9.7'' Quad Core Android 3G Tablet PC, 1GB Ram 16GB Nand Flash, Bluetooth, GPS, Unlocked GSM, w/ Sim Card Slot and went to bed with no worries. When I got up the next day I was expecting to find the charger drained and the tablet not completely charged. Well, the tablet was charged and I still had charge left in in the charger. One charge indicator light was still strong and the second light was dim but still visible. So then I pulled out my vaporizer and plugged it in. (It's a pretty heavy duty vaporizer) It also charged to capacity and shut down when the vaporizer was completely charged. Now I could finally see that the last charge indicator was being affected. I bet I could have easily charged my Sony Xperia again but I chose to go ahead and recharge the charging hub at this time. I checked the temperature of the charging hub while charging devices and while recharging the hub itself and the hub and the devices were always cool to the touch while charging. My next task is going to be to let all my devices run down and plug them all in at the same time and see if I can get this hub to get warm while charging everything at once. I will try to remember to update my review when I put it under max recharging load and see what happens.

This one is worth the extra bit of money!
Anker's becoming my new favorite modern electic-product brand. We all have to be a bit wary when we buy stuff off the internet because returning it may not always be the easiest thing. So I tend to shell out a little bit more for high quality stuff. If it doesn't work, you want a good team to contact to return it. And if it's good, it'll last you forever anyway. This is definitely worth it. It does the job, charges stuff fast, and is about as small as you can get for a charger. That and because it's on a cord rather than plugging directly into the wall, you don't have to worry about extra bulkiness. The charger alone would have been wrot hthe money but it comes with 6 small Micro-USB cords, and you can never have too many of those right? Put these together with some mini-USB, Lightning and USB-C tips and you have the ultimate versatile charging solution.
