We looked at various snowman kits on Amazon, and we're very happy with this kit.The eyes and mouth pieces have a cool charm to them since they've got a rough texture to them given them that "coal" pieces type of feel. They're also not uniformly circle, so they don't feel so synthetic.The buttons are nice and large and clearly visible from afar. The multi-prongs behind each of the plastic pieces help keep them in place, however, we found that as the snow got harder they didn't fully stick all the way into the snow. They tended to want to come back out, but it wasn't such a big deal from an aesthetic standpoint.The carrot is hollow, but a solid piece of plastic. It's not flimsy and worked nicely in our snowman.It would have been nice for the scarf to be longer, but you can see in the picture that it was long enough. I'm not sure how they got it to look so long in the staged product picture.The best part of the kit is the hat. It has 2 holes on the side where you stick the "T" shaped plastic pieces. This makes sure the hat can't fly away, and before putting the plastic mounting pieces in, the hat constantly fell off the snowman.We made a snow man and it lasted through the 2 days we were in the mountains, and I'm assuming it's still there. It even survived a snow storm which was impressive given how windy it was.We'll definitely be buying it again next season.

After only 1 use the majority of the pegs broke off. I contacted the seller who said she had never seen this issue before. However, several reviews mentioned the pegs breaking. The pegs are so narrow and cheap (think tooth pick size and width) that I imagine this happening often. Only giving 3 stars because it was fun while it lasted and the seller is refunding my money and sending a replacement set in case mine was just defective. Thankful for good customer service!

The snowman kit is going to be great when we play in the snow with our grandchildren.

This little kit works perfect! Just made this little guy today. I like how the buttons and eyes have little pegs that can dig into the snowman to keep in place! Even the hat had two pegs to poke through it so it will stay. Only problem is the scarf is a little small. But we made it work! I’m planning to order another one!

The main problem I have with this kit is that the spikes on the back of the black buttons are very thin and flimsy and a couple of them snapped off as soon as I shoved them into my snowman (and the snow was fresh and soft too). The carrot didn't stick in very well either and the spike on that should probably be twice as long. Apart from that, the pipe looks good and the hat is decent. The scarf isn't very long. You're probably better off just buying a plastic carrot from somewhere and then using proper pebbles or coal for eyes.

Loved the pieces except carrot nose is too large and won’t stay on the face. Grandson loves to put them on snowman.fun in the snow

We just received our snowman Kit. Though we haven't used it yet as it arrived after the snow melted, we are happy with it. Product was as described. Well made and sturdy so it will last a long time if looked after. Thanks for saving me lots of time figuring out what I was going to use to make this and every other snowman, a perfect snowman every time.Once our snowman is finished, it is always too hard to poke things into it to make the mouth, buttons and eyes. Without the sharp ends that this kit offers, it is almost impossible to get things to stay with the snowman until it melts.This kit make making a snowman so much more fun. Ellen

Very, very funny kit... Great for team building: lead the whole family to gather and build an impressive giant snowman with fresh snow, the end of our first day in the ski resort. Ended up so funny that lots of passing by people stopped, made comments, took a selfie... kids were so very proud of their work that morning after waked up early and went straight to salute their very own first serious snowman - baptized Cristiano Ronaldo, by the way :)Great kit, will order again next season!

I had so much fun with this snow man kit, we didn't have snow at Christmas time so I used all of the kit apart from the scarf to decorate a snow man cake that I made.

did not come in a box as advertised just a tatty plastic bag not ideal when bought as a gift
