Clambake / Follow That Dream / Frankie and Johnny

Most people from the 50’s/60’s era Love those Elvis movies. I remember my mother had all of his albums. Every time a new movie came out she’d say hey let’s go see that new Elvis movie. We’d go to the drive-in. To see an Elvis movie, if you wanted to get in and actually have a spot with a speaker you had to get in line very early. So we’d pickup a bucket of KFC chicken and a couple of sides and head for the drive in around 2:00 in the afternoon. Yes seriously we sat in line in our car about a quarter mile down the road (off side of old hwy road) from the theatre. We sat there for 4-5 hours before they would let us in. They generally didn’t open the gates until 7:00, but when it was an Elvis movie they would sometimes open an hour early. They would let as many cars in as wanted to come. When the mics were all taken they would tell the drivers that they would have to park along the side or in the back. The theatre had like park bench type seats up at the concessions stand and in the grassy area up front by the screen where they also had swings and sounds for the kids. I just love Elviv' films. I grew up on them. He has comic wit that he (nor many others) never appreciated. He always wanted to do serious films. His best is King Creople (serious), but the cute little beachy movies are very enjoyeable. His charm and wit can make any movie palatable to me.

I love Elvis movies. When I found 3 of my favorites in one package, boom, I bought them!!

I love Elvis Presley and had been looking for his movies. I was so happy to find them and at a good price.

The movie "CLAMBAKE " ONLY showed on 1/4th over my screen. All other movies ran regular screen.

While somewhat dated, these are fun movies that the whole family can enjoy.

My wife loves all Elvis items and this will be an addition to her video collection, its a Christmas gift so can rate the quality of the movie yet.
