Metal Plates for Magnetic Car Mount (4 Metal Plates) by Mengo

I bought these so i could use more devices with my Scosche Magic Mount. These are NOT the same quality as the Scosche plates. These plates are razor sharp around the edges. When installed on my device the plates gouged my desk taking shavings off the wood they are so sharp.Mengo support told me they have to be this way because they are made as thin as possible but this isn't true. If it were true then the Scosche plates, which are just as thin, would do the same thing. They just didn't pay the extra money to have the edges dulled or rounded which is why they are cheaper.They also told me to try to use them under a case to stop them from damaging things but then it will only damage your phone!! I ended up using one under my case but had to protect my phone from the plate using tape.If I had it to do over I'd spend the extra $4 and get the Scosche spare plates. At least they don't damage things they touch AND every plate has adhesive on it unlike these which only have adhesive on the round plates.

Fantastic product. Mount fits seamlessly onto the car vent, magnet securely attaches even through a phone case. No wiggle fromThe mount or be magnet when attached. No more awkwardly propping my phone up on the console when using GPS on road trips. Wish I had bought this product sooner than I did. A must have for those who take long trips or drive often.

Pretty simple design that was executed well. Not much to say really, I mean, they're just metal plates with some adhesive. They work (obviously) with all of the various magnetic mounts that I use in our cars (Aukey, TechMatte, Logitech) and are just as good as the plates that originally shipped with any of them.

This is the second round i have bought myself personally since i had to change my phone case. I cant say enough how much i love these. It holds to the vent well, can put these anywhere, so much so that i bought my parents the same mounts. Even if these were not so cheap i would still love them. Great product

This is awesome! I love this gadget! It is so simple to use. It holds up very well on my car vent. It doesn't fall off when driving. even if I hit a bump it stays in place. I can talk comfortably, safely on my phone while driving with this gadget attached securely to my phone and vent. I love it!

Good product. Now, I am using my android without any disturbance/movement during the turns. Earlier, with other holders, I always find it difficult during the turns. Android used to come out of the holder. Now, I am happily driving.

2 of the metal tags did not come with the adhesive 3M stick-glue side, so therefore I can only use 2 of the 4 pieces provided.

Estas placas de metal son fenomenales para el soporte magnetico. Ya puedes ir por un camino de baches que el movil no se mueve de su sitio.Lo unico malo es que es un pelin grueso y no pude llevarlo entre la bateria y la carcasa de mi movil ya que quedaba muy abierto.Pero el pegamento que viene es fuerte y aunque no queda muy estetico es muy practico.
