Excellent for grass and brush
This replaces my other two weed-eater heads (shown in images) and performs better than either. This cuts shrubs, and thicker ones than my previous steel cutter could even attempt. Surprisingly, it also cut grass better than the string cutter. The string cutter would create so much wind that I would have to swing the weed-eater rapidly back and forth to actually cut the grass, rather than just blowing it out of the way. This cutter cuts the grass with much less effort, and is easier on the back. You will need a powerful weed-eater, as even my Echo SRM-410U would bog down when cutting brush over 1" thick. Overall, I am very happy with it as I do not need to keep changing my weed-eater heads as this is better than my other two in every way.

Tough Blades with Handy Sharpening Bonus
This blade set is extremely durable and holds up well during heavy use. Just like with a chainsaw, hitting dirt will dull the blades quickly, but thankfully, the included file set makes sharpening convenient. Filing can be a bit tedious, but it's great that everything you need is included. Overall, a solid and reliable set for brush cutting.

Wish I kept the 9 inch
Originally I bought the 9 inch blade because of measurements that's what I could use. Ends up the guard I had originally didn't work with such a big blade. Sent it back, no hassle at all and I hadn't opened it. I then ordered the 7 inch blade to find out I could have used the 9 inch one I iust had to mess with it a bunch to install safely and balanced and everything. I wish I would have messed with it more too because as good as the 7 inch is the 9 inch would have really felt perfect for cutting everything.I was able to attach mine to a ryobi and it works great. I bought it originally to deal with a mess of thick vines that not much could make a real dent in. I went at the mess for 20 minutes and it was gone.I thought it would work well cause it's a circular chainsaw blade on a stick, I just anticipate it working so well. You can end up cutting just about anything except actually thick trees with it. I think I messed around and cut some that were two to three inches thick. Probably not reccomendwd but you can do it. I just make sure everything is tight and secure and guard is in place.I don't really go on about stuff like this honestly but I've been searching for something that could take those vines for a while that wasn't some giant machine. I think pretty much has any future tough yard work handled and that's good to know. Things are so much easier when you have the right tool and use it safely. One thing, the blade sounds terrifying when spinning up at first,i was just caught off guard on just how powerful it sounded. Just treat it like any other chainsaw or table saw and what not, give it the caution and awareness you do when using the other and you'll be good.

Awesome and Essential Tool.
From what I can tell, most reviews undersell the usefulness of this product. It is like having a chainsaw that rips right through sagebrush, large diameter weeds, etc. and a string trimmer all in one. It handles minor contact with the ground without damage to the blades (or their sharpness). The debris kicked back to the user (me) was significantly less than that from string. If you think there are T-Post or other hidden metal objects in the brush, exercise caution.I cleared the same amount of roadside vegetation in the one third the time compared to my string trimmer head assembly. This saved me gas and a lot of string; the blade paid for itself in the first day.The only thing that I didn't factor in was that I would need to purchase the nut and arbors, washers, etc. separately for my Husqvarna 525 LST. That said, this thing is a beast.

Sharp, cuts great
If you are looking to cut large brush, this blade is for you. The chainsaw teeth came very sharp. This fit my husqvarna 555fx perfect. I've cut saplings up to 2in thick in one swipe. The file is a great bonus to sharpen the teeth when needed. If you are looking ti cut tall grass however, I would not suggest this blade. It has no way to fling the grass to clear the blade and makes it very hard to use. I would highly highly recommend for larger brush.
