Great isolator. Works great in 2016 Polaris Ranger 900-5 Crew.
Ive had this in my Polaris ranger 2016 900-5 crew, for about 8 months. I have 2, 1200 Odyssey batteries installed. This thing works like a champ. It passes the charge to the battery that needs it the most. I tax my system more than most people ever will, and this isolator does more than I need it to. You have to understand your setup and how it all charges or you wont understand how this thing works. I have 2, 54in curved 4D light bars, and 2, 50in curved 4D light bars, along with 2, 7in light bars, and in cab, mulit color lights. I can run all night on my setup. I can hunt 3,000+ acres, for over 8 hours without any issues. I can hear the isolator clicking back and forth, and I can watch my voltage move around. I never drop under 10 volts, on a full load, and that is after all night of hunting. It would of been nice to have longer and better neg and pos. cables, but because of all the other work done to the Ranger, I did have better cable laying around. Others will not have the same luck. So a tip to the seller. Just give the better, longer cables. It wont cost you that much more, and honestly even if it does, I would of paid to have the better cables. Outside of that, I didn't buy this for the cables. I needed the isolator, and it is great quality, and works flawlessly.

Work as advertised, good product, good price
Purchased this to add dual battery capability to my Polaris Rzr. Easy to install, good directions. Only caveat, placing it where it says in the directions, double check to make sure the seat fits back in place before putting in the final screws. If you dont, a good chance it will interfere with the seat. It contained everything I need to make the installation simple and easy and not having to chase for any parts.

Worked well for a month or so then became unstable and caused system problems with my Polaris Ranger. Polaris diagnostics finally linked it back to this product which I had them install.

Perfect for installing dual battery set up for Rzr
I used this for my custom dual battery set up for my rzr. All wires were long enough and had everything I needed.

This device can drain your starter battery if not connected correctly.
After much research I purchased the unit based on the good reviews. I noticed when first connecting the unit there was an audible click like a relay, I thought nothing of it at the time assuming it just initialized the unit. Four days later I am left stranded because it drained the starter battery. I charged the battery for several hours and monitored the voltage, but when the charger was taken off there was a parasitic voltage drain pulling the battery back down by .01 volts about every 5 seconds or so. While investigating further with the vehicle ignition off I noticed the very small almost non-visible red LED was always on which indicates the device is in CUT IN mode @ 13.3v, this would make sense normally because my now fully charged starter battery was over that. I disconnected the thin ground wire and heard the click again but now the starter battery voltage stayed steady at 13.15v with no drain. The device is supposed to CUT OUT at 12.8v so the alternator would direct power back to the starter battery, so I would assume when the vehicle was turned off it would CUT OUT so as not to drain the starter battery, this was not the case and it continued to drain the battery. Hopefully I can contact the seller directly for advice but as of now the only option is to install a manual isolator switch to power off this isolator. For reference I am an auto mechanic & electrician, all I can say is buyer beware. UPDATE 9/25: After contacting the vendor and reviewing my installation it was apparent that I had made a mistake. Yes this device could drain your starter battery if installed incorrectly, I corrected my installation and the unit seems to be functioning as it should.

Great product and you can ground direct to the chassis
Great product worth wonderful instructions. One revision they can add to the diagram is that you don't necessarily need to run a cable directly from the battery to the auxiliary battery. If you are running yards in a battery to the rear of the vehicle you can just ground the auxiliary battery to the chassis and the system will still function properly. It's very efficient and charges perfectly. The quality of the kit for insulation was amazing. I would happily purchase another unit from them.

Awesome
Does exactly what it is supposed to. We used this is the construction of a power supply box that would accept charge from a battery charger, and alternately open up to charge from and alternator source. It worked exactly within its specs, and can be used for heavy amperage applications.

Duel batteries is a must
Excellent product for duel batteries in Polaris RZR. One battery for the accessories such as lights and wench, which keeps the main battery fresh at all times.

I bought this because of positive reviews from you tube videos. I'm glad I did because it's a great piece to have when installing 2 batteries. Cost more but looks to be way better products than those $20 ones on Amazon.

Nothing

Seems to work fine but start battery dies in a couple of days if not used. Must be a small draw from isolator.
