its bigger in diameter then my inline filter i already have. the description wasn't clear. however it works great , used it for a batch today. and it performed perfect. this kept most of the pellet hops from going through my plate chiller. was a must needed addition to my tools in the brew house.Thanks.

Beautiful stainless steel

Works well for filtration of hops post boil. I found some welding spatter upon initial inspection and they sent a replacement immediately. So, inspect the product well, some of them have blemishes from manufacturing and could cause an infection in fermentation. Don't forget to run a cleaning cycle on it first to remove any residual oils from the manufacturing process and possibly an acid rinse to passivate the internal mesh. Also, they exchanged the bad purport pictured immediately.

This filter was absolutely great. I was able to run a very hoppy beer through my playe chiller and pump with no problem. I was amazed at how well this preformed. It was super easy to use, and clean afterwards. When I went to clean it out it was completely packed with hops and solids, but the beer kept flowing with no problems. Beer going into the fermenter was was the cleanest and clearest beer I have ever start with. Definitely a good addition to my brewery.

I purchased this to filter 15 gallons of beer from the fermenter to kegs, leaving behind a couple of pounds of hop pellets. Well, the first 7 gallons passed perfectly. Then it stopped. I had to take the filter apart and re-sanitize the filter. But, how to I force O2 from the filter... I don't know.

This is a great sediment filter to remove particulates from your beer during transfer.Well made and easy to use.

Filter worked great and saved us a ton of time when kegging our beer

I was excited when this arrived, and anxious to test it!My first impression opening the box was that it was well packaged in 2 layers of bubble wrap, and it shows, as this filter has an impeccable fit and polish! Its quite heavy for it's size, and has a very solid construction.I've been struggling to keep my plate chiller working properly, and this filter did the trick! The filter flows well until it is packed solid. I had to remove and clean it once during the chilling process. I tend to add too much hops to my beer, about 14 oz in my brew kettle for a 56l batch with my latest recipe. Cleaning is a breeze using a regular kitchen sink sprayer.
