Review: Great price for heavy duty iron sights - I bought the rear and front iron sights from Ozark. They came separately. They seem to be great quality. I have not had a chance to see if they hold zero on my Beowulf, but they seem to be well built and very heavy so if their weight is any sign of the actual quality I think these will have no problems. Adjustments are easy and seem firm 5. You have 2 iron apertures to choose from, one for close and one for precision The bad: 1. For some they may not like the added weight 2. I have not had a chance to try them so I cant speak to holding zero 3. I could not find a front and rear set on desertcart. Maybe they have it and I didn't see it but would be nice to get them together.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this sight adjust for windage or just elevation?**
A: With A2 sights you're *supposed* to zero the front post for elevation. The vertical adjustment on an A2 rear is to adjust your aim at ranges specified on the range dial...  however: the range increments are designed around specific bullet weights and specific barrel lengths. If your firearm doesn't match what the A2 rear was designed around then the range dial won't work as designed... If you never plan on shooting past ~150 yards the range dial doesn't really matter... but it can still go up and down ;)

Long story short: it's not supposed to be used for elevation, but you can totally use it for elevation if you don't care about having preset range adjustments (which aren't really necessary unless you're doing mid-long range shooting with irons). Go ahead, adjust that rear, it'll be fine.

**Q: What front sight do I need with this? It would be mounted at the end of my hand guard.**
A: I would assume any standard AR-15 sight whether it be fixed or flip up. My front sight is the Fixed A2 front sight post and this rear sight lines up perfectly. I would guess Ozark Armament has a front sight. I would guess Magpul or any other brand should be ok too. This is my 3rd build (4th soon) and so far I have tried different brand sights with no issues. I hope I this helps.

**Q: Any chance it will fit a Weaver mount, 11mm or 22mm dovetails?**
A: Nancy,  It may fit the weaver mount depending on the reliefs cut in the rail.  It will not fit dovetail directly but may fit with adapters.If you need specific advice just send us a message and we'll be happy to help.Thanks

**Q: Am i able to remove sight components and place on carry handle stripped upper reciver?**
A: You could use these parts in an A2 upper receiver, but they won't exactly be correct.  The range adjustment on a sight with the wheel marked 6/3 is calibrated for an M4 with a 16" barrel.  The M16A2 with a 20" barrel needs a sight with an 8/3 wheel.  If you aren't going to use the range adjustment, it will work properly at whatever range you sight it in.

I bought the rear and front iron sights from Ozark. They came separately. They seem to be great quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A solid sight for its price point.

The rear sight was delivered by USPS on time and was as described. The finish is anodized with steel screws and a Aluminum body. One plus is that it was mechanically zeroed for the M4 carbine gas system sight radius for standard flip sight setting of 300 meters fine sight/200 meter large aperture quick sight. All markings are clear and legible. All ranged windbag adjustment clicks were audible and felt. The range adjustment wheel/drum is also adjustable through use of a 1.5MM hex wrench (at this price point the item is made in China.) To adjust give the range adjustment wheel several full rotations and stop when you see the hex screw and adjust from the left side, unlike the US version which is adjustable from the top through a witness hole. I use the Santos improved BZO which adjust the drum 4 clicks (each click is 0.5 moaning approx.) to allow a 50 yard zero which is good for 200 meters. Rotating the range drum to "3" then gives you a usable more accurate 300 meter zero. I‘d like to give this a five, but the drum is more difficult to adjust than the US version but is OK for this price point. I'm giving this sight 4 stars in comparison to the US made version but this is a decent rear sight and would be given an extra 1/2 star in comparison to other simlar Chinese rear sights.
