This is in my front yard, under a pretty tree. It is so cute AND THE BIRDS LOVE IT! It functions well...I bought two so that I can switch out the bowls when the green mold starts to form in the bowls due to sun, heat, and moisture. Then I can take my time cleaning them.

For the price i paid, I think, it should work even at night if there is proper battery charging system. I thought every solar tool comes with battery charging system. I came back and read the description, i see no word about battery charging during the day light in the description. I would not have bought this if I knew it.

Love it very comforting

I ordered this fountain for inside my home, I swapped out the pump for one I could plug in so I’ve not yet tried out the solar pump which I intend to use in a garden water feature in the spring. The fountain itself is easy to assemble, it’s also not overly heavy for being concrete based, it’s very pretty & a good price for its size. The only thing I didn’t like is that there was no way to contact the seller about it before I ordered it, even Amazon wasn’t able to give me direct contact info for the seller. I wanted to know if the fountain was safe for animals to drink out of, which it should be since it’s intended for an outdoor garden space. I ordered it anyway with a back up plan in mind. After it arrived & I started unpacking it, I would say that it is definitely not animal safe as it was covered in a fine concrete dust & didn't seem sealed in anyway, this is where the back up plan came in. I scrubbed the fountain clean of the dust & then sealed it with a thick layer of food grade resin, thus making it safe for my animals to drink out of.

The fountain only works in direct sunlight. It does not work in partial sun. We have to constantly move the solar panel so it runs. We are returning. Disappointing.

Everyday dince I put this fountain up I wake up to water everywhere I used to have one like it years ago and it was great but this one is not so great. The materials are not the same. I cannot recommend. Very disappointed. .

1. Solar pump is c__p. Had to buy electric one...2. Not enough adaptors to get water out of pump and into top vessel.3. Solar panel will onlyy work if you live in the tropics......anything other than completely direct sunlight is not enough to turn on pump.4. Vessels crack very easily. Especially when trying to fit supplied hoses.

Very easy to assemble. The suction is not the best. Have to wiggle the pump to get it going

The hole in the top jug is too small to accept a sealing bung and the water pipe. This renders the whole item absolutely useless. I raised this issue with the seller and they acknowledged that this was true. They said you should modify the bung by trimming it down to fit. I pose the question why should you have to do this. The seller is clearly aware of the problem, but continues to sell the item. MY RECOMMENDATION IS THAT YOU DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
