Q: Think about using this on a plastic visible v8 engine model. it has lots of moving parts. i want to use this on the crankshaft, rods, & mains.

I use this to lubricate various work out machines. I spread it on the cables that are covered/coated in plastic for one machine and have not run into any problems. Because you can coat something easily with very little, one small tube would last you forever

Q: Would this be good to use on metal gears of a Sewing machine?

I think they may make a spray, I use the tube variety and it's pretty thick. I don't know what your machine needs. Maybe call the maker

Q: can i use this to lubricate plastic gears?

Sure. Lots of sway bar link bushings are made from hard plastics. Producers of these plastic bushings recommend using these types of super grease as lubricants.
