Man, this stuff is expensive for a 60 lb Labrador! However, when my dog was at her worst with cancer and refused food, this was SO easy to mix up and put into a needless syringe to trickle nutrition down her throat! It's a powder you mix with water, so you can make it as thick or as watery as you like. It has the nutrients your dog needs, so I was very grateful for this option. I ended up mixing it with a high quality canned dog food to make it a bit more cost efficient for me, and it really helped get my dog through a very rough weekend. Your dog will regain the desire of eating! They love the taste. My dog is very old and weak. The vet prescribed first this same brand in red Package as emergency. Then the vet told me to continue the treatment by using this blue package. The blue package is awesome and less expensive than the red To me the blue package does the same the red package does! . I buy the smaller package for freshness . I love they deliver the very next day!

My very old Chihuahua is a super picky eater and has seizures when she doesn't eat enough. I sprinkle a little EmerAid on her meals to help ensure she gets the nutrition she needs to stay healthy. It has a mild chicken taste (yes, I tasted it) and doesn't seem to repel my dog the way other nutritional products have. This product is fresh and needs to be kept in the frdge. Also, only order the amout you will use within a few weeks as it will begin to spoil once opened, even when kept refrigerated.
