An additional preview screen is always welcome. The quality of the materials may not be impressive, but the screen itself is of very good quality. It definitely improves the possibilities of taking pictures, especially on very sunny days, and it has a lot of settings. You need to buy additional batteries, which significantly increase the weight, but it is nothing compared to the possibilities that the screen itself opens up to the photographer.

The best 5 inch monitor for the money
This monitor is packed full of features and really is great value for money! Lasts a long time on a battery or can be powered via usb. Has HDMI in and out for tonnes of functionality. Has a nice hood, case and hot shoe mount. Only downside is that the monitor can get pretty hot, but otherwise, excellent!

Found the size to be right on the depth the colour the build but there was something lacking in it's ability todeliver.when I used it with my camera and my video camera unfortunately I would say it stopped Short of the full monty .shop around and try others just in case you come to the conclusion that settling for the first one may hurt results down the road. but by the 3rd or 4th one you should get the right tool for the job.

For the price, you can't get much better
Perfect little monitor to have, you can input your own colour grade into the monitor so you can shoot in LOG and put your own S-Log3 - Rec 709 LUT.Nice and light, comes with a pelican case style storage box.Definitely recommend.

A great addition
The brightness of the screen is fantastic, the options are clear, the functionality is very easy. I think it can be a little pricey but for the quality of the product it's hard to argue that.

Broken out of the box
Poor quality out of the box. Cold mount does not hold monitor in place. Also connections don’t suit my camera so waiting on additional connections and a new cold mount to test. Still may return once tested.
