It pains me to read reviews from those who have had a bad experience and so I'd like to share my experience with this brand of cable. First off, this is my second New Fantasia cable and I have not had an issue with either cable. See, I purchased the first one a couple of years back to use at my desktop system. I don't wear my HD 600 headphones outside or take them on the go. I bought the shorter cable because the OEM cable was just way too long.When my cable arrived I did in fact find it to be a very snug fit and had to do a bit of fussing with it. I have never had an issue with performance as it is well constructed. Sound wise I haven't noticed it any better or worse than the OEM cable.I recently purchased a tube amplifier to use at my desktop and as my system has changed a bit I found that I needed to purchase a cable which was a bit longer in order to make it to the jack on the tube amplifier. It reached, but once I sis back in my chair it will tug on the amplifier.OK, so I got the cable this morning and I too struggled to to pull that first NewFantasia cable out and had to grab a pair of pliers. I gripped the ends of the cable firmly but gently enough and them gave a slight tug while carefully kind of rocking them side to side and both ends came out fully intact. Nothing damaged at all, and the best news is that once I pushed the new cable into each ear cup it went right in and is now much easier to pull out by finger yet secure enough to never fall out.All in all these are very nice yet inexpensive cables to have if you aren't one who buys into the idea of cables being inherently better based on price. Just don't be like a bull moose in a china closet!

Have purchased this cable twice for my Sennheiser headphones (I play 10ish hours a day and am rough with my headphones). It does the job and it's a good deal. Will continue to buy as needed from this company!

My HD 600s came with a bad cable, replaced with this instead of getting a warranty replacement as the default cable felt cheap. This was as described, nice braided cable. Working with no issues so far.

The choice of length is great, as is the affordable price. The cable feels nice and sturdy, though it has a slight mind of its own in terms of how it moves depending on how you hold it.The red cable underneath the black woven sleeve gives a very nice look, but still subtle enough to remain tasteful.I've only just started using the cable, but thus far I have no complaints, this is why I could only give 4 stars, as 5 would indicate a perfect product. It's too early to say.Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, and would buy again.

Okay so I don't really write reviews but this cable is awesome so far. I will try and update if I have issues in the future. I have had the original cable for years. I liked it, it didn't tangle and I probably rolled over it a few times with my secret labs chair. This cable is lighter than the original. It might look heavy but it is not. It fits great and works great. Most of the cable has is braided but where it splits to go into the headphones its just rubber which I like. The quarter inch adapter works great, I have it plugged into an audio interface.

This is my first time a NewFantasia product but I figured for the price this replacement cable for the HD650 looked like something worth trying considering the reviews seemed positive for the most part.  I have owned and enjoyed the HD650 for some time now and despite the fact that it comes with an excellent cable, it is a very long cable and must be adapted to 3.5mm from a 1/4 inch plug which isn’t ideal for more portable uses since the headphones can actually be driven with decent sound on most phones.The NewFantasia cable seems pretty well made.  The braided portion has a nice red and black weave and feels very durable.  It terminates into a nice metal 3.5mm jack with a spring to protect the end from hard bends.  It also includes a screw on 3.5mm to 1/4 inch adapter.   On the other side the braided cable has a metal portion at the wire split and the cables split into nice rubber cables that run to the headphones.  The plugs are small but you can feel which sides face outward when plugging in although there is no way to feel or see which plug is for which side without some light.  The plugs are a little smaller than the stock cable but they fit very nicely into the HD650 ports.I’m not running a very high end setup with the iPhone 7 Plus(Apple Music 256kb/s AAC Tidal Lossless), the Schiit Fulla 2 Dac/Amp, and the HD650 but I haven’t noticed any degradation in the audio quality moving to these cables from the stock. I’m sure there could be a measurable difference but to my ears the difference seems to be mostly negligible. Overall I’m satisfied with the cable and considering how it sounds and comparing the cost to some of the higher end cables, I feel that the $18 I paid is reasonable. I’ll update my review should I run into any issues but otherwise I think this is a great cable and can recommend it.

I bought this product a while back and realized that the headphone cable was way too short for my needs. So I decided after a year or so, that I needed a new longer cable. After receiving this cable, I can’t confirm that the quality is the exact same as my first cable and it fit perfectly into my Sennheiser headphones without any issues. I went through probably four Sennheiser cables before ending up purchasing this cable and it was worth it in the end because I haven’t found any issues with it and it’s better than the OEM cable tbh

These wires are nice and work good. However the canvas covered wire is dumb. Tangles easily and is stubborn to get untangled. Won't buy canvass covered wires again. Lesson learned.

Stock cables started cutting audio on my left side. These cables work great with the MassDrop HD6XX model

Works well. Quality of sound not as good as the original cable.

A good product at a great price.
