Good supply -- but be careful of the ratings for your G6. This one is the right model!
This works fine for a G6, right out of the box. Be VERY careful about what you buy! A lot of vendors offer power supplies with 'G6 compatible connector', but they don't supply the correct voltage or amperage necessary for a fully-loaded G6. You _need_ the 19.5V @ 3.3A (65W) version... and this one is exactly that.It's a good supply at a good price.

Replacement cord
It arrived quickly and works great. However, it is a replacement for the same cord I ordered and received 11 months ago. That cord wore out and no longer worked. I hope this one lasts longer.
