Effortless installation and a significant audio improvement
I installed this external microphone, and it fit perfectly in the same spot as my factory microphone with only a minor adjustment. I ran the cord down from the roof, through the A-pillar, and behind my aftermarket head unit—resulting in a clean and straightforward installation.The audio quality is incredible—it's a complete upgrade from the ineffective built-in microphone that came with my head unit. Works better than previous mics
Everyone complained of how muffled I was with interference on mic that came with Jensen stereo, changed that mic to a Sony one. Not much better. This one has been a great improvement. Not perfect but much less better than the other two.

you have to get right on top of the microphone for it to not sound like you’re in a tunnel
this works OK it works much better than microphone that came with a stereo, but the sound quality is still not there. You still sound like you’re going in and out of a tunnel unless you get right on top of the microphone

Comes with plenty of cable so you can hide it and route it how you need to without being too short. I was able to route mine across the inside of the dash up the pillar and across the head liner to the middle with plenty to spare. The audio quality is very good not the best I have had for that but definitely does the job that its intended to do without issue or audio quality issues.

Horrible quality
The pivot ball on the mic and clip are so loose that the mic moves too much and falls out. The mic fell apart after it was on my sun visor and fell when I opened it. I've been told the sound quality is bad from the other person that I'm on the phone with. I don't know how this even has good reviews
