Can my baby use this product a lot?

If by "my baby" you mean your significant other, for example, "baby, turn on the smart plug using Alexa or the convenient YoLink app, my hands are full" then, sure! But if you mean "baby" as in "infant" we can not encourage that. At least wait until they are old enough to learn about electrical safety. This reminds me of the time when I was a small child and I attempted to unlock a 120V receptacle with a key. It was enlightening. Thank you for your interest in our products! Does this mini plug do energy monitoring of the outlet like graphing power being drawn from the plug at any one time ?

Can this be used to send an alert if power is lost to the appliance plugged in, or to the outlet its plugged into?

I looked at Alexa routines and under Smart Homes the leak sensors are there but NOT my plug. I then looked at IFTTT to see if there is more capability there - there is not. Interesting problem though. IFTTT has the ability for Smart things to be alerted when smart devices are switched on/off/No longer detected. This would be a feature request, although if you lost power, how would the alert be sent?
