Perfect for ...... almost anything! Love the easy to fill, and durable shakers. Just pop off the entire top, which has great secure fit. No threads for particles to work their way into and jam up! Especially good when dealing with bulk bags... Seasonings such as: White Pepper , Grilling Seasonings, Ajinomoto Umami Seasoning (msg), etc.. Works perfect for the home cook, or in a restaurant .. don't overlook these :)

Kids kept making a massive mess trying to put powdered sugar on their waffles. Problem solved. This shaker is perfect. I won't say no mess, but it's very minimal now.

I saw something like this at my kids' school and wanted to try it at home. The teachers said the kids practice using their pincer grasp (first two fingers and thumb) by inserting golf tees into the holes on the shaker. I bought this and some long (3.25") golf tees and sat with my kids while they immediately went to "work." They love it! It's one they're only allowed to work with under supervision, but it's a great, rather inexpensive way for them to continue some of their lessons at home. The shaker lid is easy to remove, the cup is easy to clean, and it seems pretty durable so far. I think it would work well for it's intended purpose with food, but I'm happy with the way we're using it for now.

Be careful if you're using a fine grade salt (like popcorn salt). The holes in the lid although not overly big are still large enough that a good amount of product does come through. So be careful if you are shaking popcorn salt as to not over season what you are shaking it on.

I had the stainless steel one for years, but noticed it was rusting on the inside. Have no idea how that happened. So ordered this one and have been very happy with the swap. I can see how low it is getting and it sprinkles a little bit more freely but I just sprinkle it a shorter amt of time.

They are awesome. Just what I wanted. I was going to get the metal ones but I saw these ones and chose these ones because I remembered them from when I used to work in the kitchen. Th3se ones are way better then the metal ones. I highly recommend them
