I needed some sort of protector for my new 4th gen iPod because within a week of receiving my old 3rd gen, it was all scuffed up. I have to comment that the iPods look great, but they are so easily scratchable. In fact, while I was waiting for my iSkin (took like 5 days), my new 4th gen DID get all scuffed!The kit comes with the iSkin and a screen protector (it slides under the skin and I've had no problems with it this far) and there's a belt clip that I decided to take off because the plastc that it's made of looks like it would snap really easy.The iSkin itself fits perfectly and does an outstanding job at protecting the iPod. I just had to return one because I bought the 20 gig version (my mistake--I have a 40gig unit) and it fit horribly. However, the 40 gig iSkin fits PERFECTLY and really protects my iPod. Slides right in and keeps all the bottons, openings, and that hold button within reach.I like how it's protecting the iPod, but the skin is pretty thick (you have to pull the iPod out if you want to use the desktop charger, but plugging the charger right into the bottom of the iPod is no problem--and the iSkin comes with a little protector over that bottom hole. The other annoyance I have with the iSkin is that it attracts every loose bit under the sun! The silicone is kinda sticky--which is not a problem when it's in your hand--but hair and lint and whatever else is haging around will bind itself to the iSkin. And because the iSkin is kinda sticky, it's hard to get in there and pull the hair or lint off.
