HoneyTree's Organic Agave Nectar-Light, 24.7-Ounce (Pack of 2)

I really couldn't have Log Cabin or Aunt Jemima anymore. The sugar or whatever is in that just made me hungry 5 mins later. But this is a great replacement! I enjoy eating it with breakfast like sausage and pancakes or to sweeten my tea. It is so convenient that it comes in packs of 3 because I know I will use it!! I am even trying to get my friends to try it because I definitely feel it is better for you and our bodies handle it better than sugary syrups.

Agave nectar is perfect for the diabetic diet----although I am not a diabetic. If you look into Dr. John McDougall's book called "The Starch Solution" you will not only learn that you don't need to be afraid of starches, like potatoes, corn and grains, but you will learn about wonderful sweeteners like agave. It is nature's sweetness! It has a glycemic index that makes the blood sugar rise, but then it levels out normally as it should. Agave is a safe and easy to use. It is better than ANY pancake syrup!

I really like this agave...ordinarily I use a different brand but thought I would try this, based on the price and the fact it too is organic and it turns out to be indistinguishable from the brand I usually buy...I get it through my subscribe and save program and never have to worry about running out or running to the store...Thanks Amazon for providing such good options and quality products...

I use this as corn syrup substitute in baking; my family is not aware of substitute. I also use it for sweetener in my chai tea lattes made at home. I can't tell difference, but my son and husband always make faces when they steal a sip from my cup when I use it. I would recommend something else if you have "picky palates" at your house.

My husband uses honey in place of sugar and Agave is a price worthy substitution. Will order more. Great for refilling smaller jar.

This is an excellent alternative to sugar. It tastes better than sugar or any of those artificial sweeteners. This nectar has a low glycemic index which is good news for diabetics. I can't wait to try cooking with this. I use it in coffee, on pancakes, french toast, just about on anything.
