A functional replacement tap
A simple replacement tap for the price, did the job.Easy to fit and functional

very shiny chrome
had a very bad dripping tap and being on a water meter I needed to get it fixed. The old tap was attached by copper pipe and soldered in place. Pipes cut off and removed from isolating valves. I was set for install and prepared for the worst. This tap weighs about half of the weight of old tap so was not expecting much from it. It comes supplied with flexable pipes which I was expecting to swap out but they attached to the old isolating valves and the tap install went very well. The flow is excellent and aerated and no more drips. This tap is very inexpensive but does not feel cheap once installed. It was bought as a stop gap till we have a new kitchen next year and this will suit our needs very well till then.

Great tap although smaller than I expected so check measurements. The plumber was impressed at quality and price.

Cheap and will not last
Yes it's cheap but it will not last. The bottom plate of the tap has a tendancy to unscrew as it turns. The tails supplied are poor quality and shorter than stated. I had no confidence in durability. Went to a popular trade DIY store (initials TS) and for a tenner more got a professional quality tap in the same style but more weighty, more spout reach, long stainless steel UK tails and a 5 year warranty. Sometimes it's just worth spending a little extra. I would not recommend this to anyone.
