Measure diameter of current thermometer first
Easy replacement. Just pull out old one and replace with new one. If you notice on face on thermometer there is a "TEST". You can use this with boiling water in a pot to confirm the thermometer is working properly. It should be reading in this red area for boling water.

It's a reasonable replacement for the original thermometer
It installed easily and works fine, but it doesn't fit tightly like the original thermometer, so it just doesn't feel like it's going to stay in place well. I'm thinking of adding a little aluminum foil to help wedge it into place.

Seems like a nice replacement for my grill
This appears to be a quality thermometer, but as with the OEM and aftermarket they just don’t hold up. Hopefully this will pass the test of BBQ’ing and time 😃

Original equipment
In the past, I bought similar thermometers for my weber grills. But they were all a little bit different than the original and didn’t fit right. This is the exact replacement for my Weber grill.

Perfect fit for Weber Genesis replacement
My Weber Genesis Silver was a gift back in the late 1990s. Last season, I gave her a full set of replacement parts: burners, grates, igniter, and flavorizer bars. She was just like new....until this spring the thermometer went out. This part fits perfectly into the holder on the front of the grill. Checked temperature against a digital thermometer, and it was +/- 1-3 degrees depending on temp. Perfect replacement, great price.

Did the job
This worked and I was able to adapt it to my Weber big the face size and length of the temp shaft was ok but the holding end to the bbq was different I did adapt it with little effort. Some other manufacturers come with a tightening collar on the inside This one should have a adapter like this

Easy to install
Our 25 year old Weber needed a new temp. gauge. Had to use a hammer to lightly tap the grimy old one out. The new one went was placed in. The whole operation took 2 minutes
