This has great hold. It was just too much for my hair since I rarely use gel.

I've tried a bunch of edge controls and this one will be the last one I try and will keep buying. Works great keeps my edges in place all day long. Does have white residue after a couple of hours but if you add some water on it, it will go away and keep away for rest of the day.

It leaves a white residue.
