Top quality layer feed
I have 6 22-week-old laying hens and receive 6 eggs per day from them. Since they began laying, this is the only feed I’ve given them. My hens are healthy, the eggs have hard shells, and the yolks are very orange. The hens have free access to this feed and seem to like it.

Pellets for a Pullet
My chicken Myrtle ate chick feed that was in powder form. I have tried to get her to eat these pellets and she won't. So I grind them into powder and she's just fine with that, she'll eat it then. A lot of work but I love that girl and if this product lives up to the billing she should lay some nice eggs when she gets a bit older. We'll see about that. Maybe I can even get her to start eating these pellets in pellet form when she's bigger, too? I do believe in miracles. That's how I got my Myrtle. One day I noticed one of the cats had something in his mouth. I looked closer and thought he had caught a starling. But the feet were too big for a starling. So I pried open that cat's mouth and extricated the bird from between his teeth. Fortunately, he's on the lazy side. He didn't try to fight me for her and he had not bitten down on her very hard. After I had her safely away from him I looked at the beak and the feet and realized that by golly she was a young chicken. Very young. That's how I got Myrtle.

The hens like it
We've been using a more expensive, high-quality scratch and peck organic raw grain mix for our laying hens, but there was a lot of powder left at the end of a bag and the girls wouldn't eat that. So we tried the Manna Pro Non-GMO Organic High Protein Feed. We started out with a half and half mix to help them adjust, but they didn't seem to object to the pellets, so we quickly adjusted to adding only about 10% of the scratch and peck feed to keep it interesting. The pellets also have quite a bit of powder in the mix, but the cost is less, so it's still affordable and the girls are getting good nutrition and laying well.

Not Moldy
I saw some of the reviews and was disgusted... However, I thought maybe it was just a bad batch? I ordered anyway just because of what you’re getting for the price and it was able to get to my house the next day. I can confirm that my batch was not moldy or wet. My chicken loved it.

Nice eggs, messy, dusty feed
First off, This product is available elsewhere for about 40% less. I have a somewhat mixed review. The positive, the eggs produced from this feed have nice, hard shells and good flavor. The girls have healthier (and less stinky) poop. While they seem to enjoy eating the pellets, half of it is dust. Straight out of the bag, at least half of the volume was dust and another 1/4 broken pellets. Makes for an extremely messy and wasteful feed. At the prices offered her, not worth it. The girls just scatter it about and it gets cakey and moldy. I end up cleaning up nasty feed waste at least once a week. It's a real shame as the health and egg results seem to be so good. But, I think I will be trying another product.

These are good
My chickens like them. I have ordered these from Amazon probably 10 times and haven't had any of the bugs or mold issues I see in other reviews. It's been. A fine product for me every time.
