Ok so I am by no means a matcha expert. In fact, I just got this today, but I am pretty pleased so far! I didn't even know anything about matcha until I had the green tea frappe at star bucks because I had a gift card and randomly decided to try it. Lol needless to say I became addicted and didn't want to spend 5$ at Starbucks for it. So I decided to try it on my own. I wasn't aware of all the things you can make with matcha so I am going to be experimenting with warm lattes next! I also didn't realize this stuff was so pricey until I start researching on finding it. I read that a little bit of this stuff goes a long way, so this was a great starter bag for me because there seems to be more in it, and did what I was expecting. I also didn't have to shell out 25-30$ for just a couple ounces ! Anyway, I read that it is supposed to be green and I feel like this is a pretty green color. And it smelled fresh when I opened it. I posted some pictures of my home made frappe below and it tasted just like the one at Starbucks (not as sweet but that was expected because I was going for a healthier version anyway with healthier/natural ingredients etc. ) the only thing I had a slight issue with was storage, I feel like it's really hard to reseal my bag. It's not torn or anything but it is very difficult to reseal. That's probably something no one had any control over, but I may just have to find something else. Over all I feel pretty pleased.

I have been looking for a matcha tea that was affordable but still of high-quality so I was happy when I found this brand. It has a great taste and it has a true green color, unlike like some of the other inexpensive brands, which can be more of a brown over processed color. Every morning, I half a cup of green tea and I like to add a pinch of this tea to go along with it. I haven't tried it on it's own but I'm sure it tastes good. A lot comes in this package so I'm sure it will last me a long time.

Great flavor and mixes easily in my Boston shaker with my protein for a clean feeling caffeine boost! I prefer the caffeine in this to coffee or other sources, it feels more crisp and clean and clear headed with fewer gastrointestinal issues and also no coffee stained teeth!I just shake it bartender style for 15 seconds or less and it mixes right in.

I was loving the Matcha green tea latte's at Starbucks and wanted to see if I could make them myself with maybe a bit less sugar. I use a heaping teaspoon of this powder, some 2% milk, and honey or small amount of organic sugar, or without sweetener. I Magic Bullet ingredients to mix well before adding hot water, and it makes a nice latte foam.I'm not a tea expert, but this tastes like what I expected from having it elsewhere, a very earthy taste. I wasn't using specifically for weight loss, energy or other health reasons, but there were unexpected desirable effects like that from using it. Matcha powder isn't cheap, and this one was mid-range of the prices, a large pouch that will last a long time.

Yes! Finally, some Matcha in my life. This is good quality for the price. I really like to get low-fat & sugar ice cream and mix this into it. Really, you can add it to a lot of things. I've noticed that I've been a lot lighter, even in the holiday season, since buying this. I sometimes take it into work and add it to my coffee, or mix it with a bit of honey, almond milk, and water. You can even put it into oatmeal, or make a puree with over-ripe bananas and peanut butter and spread that on toast. It give a nice bitter balance to food and drinks. If this is your first time getting Matcha, this is a good one with which to start.

I recently discovered matcha and I crave it and love it so much that I stopped drinking coffee. This Culinary Matcha Tea Powder is very green and grassy tasting. It is also higher in caffeine than the matcha I bought from steepedtea.com. I believe that the powder is slightly more coarse than more expensive matcha powders but not by much. I have no problems with lumps when I mix it because I use a silicon bristle barbeque basting brush (that works better and is less messy than a whisk).I highly recommend this matcha. You can't go wrong paying 20 bucks for a pound of pure Chinese matcha.

This culinary organic matcha is delicious and gives me sustained alertness without jittery feelings.It actually calms me down.I developed an easy way to prepare my drink. I put 1 teaspoon in a small blender bottle with a metal whisk ball, than add 8 to 10 oz of cold tap water. I shake the bottle until the drink is smooth and drink it down. I did not want to invest in a whisk and mixing bowl.I also like the price of this matcha. Healthworks provides an excellent product that most people can afford.My method is easy and very convenient.

I had to give up coffee and diet sodas (doctor's orders), but still occasionally want a caffeine boost. Discovered Starbucks matcha green tea lattes and was hooked. After purchasing a ridiculously small & expensive package of matcha green tea powder & figuring out how to make them at home, I discovered this product. Quality is great and you get so much more quantity for your money. I am only just on my 2nd bag. (And by the way, I make the latte with the matcha powder, milk, honey, and just a drop of vanilla).
