I purchased these as replacements for one that had failed and one that was failing. As an LED light these are consumable items, so failing is to be expected eventually, but the previous one failed sooner than I would have liked. It turned out that the main fault was with the driver, but in reaching its end it took the panel with it.So, these arrived, and were simple to fit - undo two screws in the ceiling frame to remove one side, slide the old one out, connect up the new driver, and refit the the side piece and the two screws, remembering of course to turn off the power first! It was a quick and simple job that took only a few minutes; it took longer to get the tools and steps together and into the office than it did to do the job.The results? We replaced both units in that particular office, but were able to compare with the original before changing the second one as it was still working. These offered a neater finish, better colour, and switch on absolutely instantly. There is also no after glow when they are turned off, something you find with other brands.Well worth the five stars, and I would definitely not hestitage to buy them again should the need arise.

This light is physically quite small but the light output is immense. An old 60w filament was roughly 600 lumen and this clocks in at 3240. It's also 5000 kelvin so is on the "white" daylight end of the spectrum (though 6000k is proper daylight white) Daylight white is the best for simply seeing what you're doing.Some buyers might find it a bit too bright for a small room and if you stick it in your bathroom you'll have some cleaning to do because this highlights everything!Something else to note - the light doesn't have to be fully "locked" in place - ie turned fully anti clockwise. The design of the connector gives you quite a lot of latitude if you didn't screw the plate into a perfect position.I already have 3 much larger similar lights in my kitchen and I swear by this type of light. You probably wouldn't want to relax in front of the TV with one of these on but that's what lamps are for.

I got this light for my photo studio, the description said they are 7000K for extra brightness. But it is actually more blueish, and worst it didn't even last a month before black spots appeared. Honestly, the light unit is pretty low quality and weak. Its hard to believe that light is up to UK standards.
