Within just 3 days, my 4 small basil plants have gone from weak, (after 2 cloudy weeks), to the health of life. This lamp is very well engineered (I expect designed by an engineer that requires quality) and built in a solid fashion. I love that the snake neck allows adjustment as the basil grows taller. The cord ends in a USB plug with an USA adaptor (the adaptor is the only part that seems of low standard, but it works, just prongs are not center or straight.) The lamp is very adjustable and has 3 light levels, yet low enough wattage so as to still feel slightly green. This is perfect for my plan to have fresh basil on our salads every night.

This light looks nice, but isn't strong enough to keep plants alive. The plastic portion of the plug on mine after minimal use, which lead to the electrical wire breaking. Now it doesn't work at all.

The light works as advertised, but it does make an annoying humming sound when on the lowest level. I just don't keep it on low when I'll be in the same area as the light and its fine. The clip is strong enough to grill nearly anything so the light hold itself up.

Do not buy this. It is cheaply made and very low quality, and yet I paid $30, expecting something MUCH better. I had to return this light the same day it arrived because the electronic switch that the push button operates must have been mis-aligned, and after just a few times of turning it on and off, the switch snapped off the circuit board inside, causing total failure and it no longer worked. This is a piece of garbage. I am VERY THANKFUL for Amazon's return policy! You will probably need it!!!

This was my first time buying a plant grow light, but I expected it to be much more powerful. I bought it to use over my succulent planter to prevent them from reaching due to insufficient light. This light did not prevent that, even when using on the highest setting. I might be expecting more out of this light than it is capable of doing. It is a really nice little light and may work really well on a reg. houseplant. The look of it is nice as well. Just note that you need to clamp it on to something pretty substancial. The clamp itself is really strong and hard to open.

Excellent little light stick at a great price. It will work fantastic for my use. The high setting is very bright even when sunlight fills the room. I'll certainly purchase two more to double up for use on winter days.

these are great aside from one major flaw. They can not be set on a timer.

I like this little guy. Like most reviewers will tell you, it isn't the brightest light you'll find and isn't made for industrial level gardening... but for my little window sill plants that aren't getting quite enough sun, this supplements well!There's a little button on the end of the light opposite of the snake part that controls the light with three settings: Low, Medium, and High. Be gentle with the button (and the rest of the light for that matter) and it will do just fine. The button feels pretty delicate so if you don't handle it right it might break. The clamp is strong enough to support it, which means it feels a little tight when you try to open it. This is a good thing and it is not impossible to open or anywhere near that difficult.It's LED so it doesn't generate a whole lot of a heat but it will get warm after a little while. If you are concerned, stay around for the first few hours of use to monitor it from time to time. I have taken hotter baths myself so don't mind leaving it on while asleep or out of the house.It has a USB cable for a power cord and comes with adapter(s). (Mine came with two, can't remember if that is what was advertised.) This is good because you can use a computer to power it if you need to at work or something where power strips might be less available. The cord has a fair length to it too. I would guess about 3-4 feet. About the length of a standard mouse cable for your computer.What I really like though is that even though it isn't the brightest, it is setup in such a way that anything underneath is able to the full benefit of the light but anything around it will also get a little boost too. So for my window sill, the one area I really need it gets it's full power and the rest that are already happy are just acting happier with it shining on them.So for the price, yeah. I really like this.
