My Daughter-in-law is from Turkey, I buy this mainly for her visits, but I drink my share of it when she is not here very good tea.

Tasteless, not worth it. Save your money. I saw sticks on the tea like it was swept it off the floor. Really disappointing. You can’t return it so it went in the garbage.

I bought a bag of this in turkey. Costs around 199 TRY which at the time (Oct 2024) was about 6 USD. The price here is double.For Turkish tea this seems pretty good quality. Idk what some reviewers rant on about that they didn’t get whole leaves. As far as I see all the tea in supermarket in Turkey were shakes. Never seen whole leaf tea in the supermarket in Turkey. FWIW Turks prepare tea the Russian way, so the leaves not exactly gonna be the same vs Chinese, English, etc. Personally I don’t think Turks know how to properly prepare tea, given the lack of variety (everything is black tea) and overly long infusion times resulting in bitter tannin infusions that they water down and add sugar to. So I lower my expectations on what they call good tea leaves accordingly.The tea doesn’t have much fragrance to it but has a strong body. It has a strong smell in the bag. I mix it with some Darjeeling and they seem to nicely complement each other.

Little pricey but good product

I tried this tea a while ago and loved the flavor and aroma. i have been hooked since then.
