Aimed at Children?
Not remotely challenging. Perhaps it is aimed at children or people just learning to read maps. I was hoping for something much more interesting and fun. It is the equivalent of 'word searches' for those used to tackling The Times crossword.

Fun quiz book if you like UK maps
This is a bit different from normal quiz books as you are presented with a number of samples from Ordnance Survey maps and you are asked to find various features. Each map sample gets a description of the area including some historical information. Good present for anyone who is into maps. The only downside is that the detail on some maps is very small so it does test your eyesight as well.

Incredibly stupid questions
Is the author of this book in any way related to geography or -- for God's sake -- to cartography? No interesting questions about what is on the map, geographically speaking. The author seems not te be able to read a map but is interested in small trivias such as the number of letters in the name of a village ...Shame!

Quality
This is a book with wide appeal. It has a flexible cover and the paper quality, as might be expected from OS, is excellent. It’s packed with colour; OS maps are supported by points and people of interest the length and breadth of the country. There are numerous puzzles throughout. Word puzzles, general knowledge, navigation and more. Ideal for a family or group of friends get together and equally interesting for individuals pick up and browse through. A great gift idea too.

Excellent book
The book is just what I needed and I'm sure my son-inlaw will be pleased. Fortunately the book was wrapped in plastic as the package spent the night out in the rain. Delivered when I was out and just propped up behind the garden wall, where I did not see it when I arrived home late.Delivery marked as 'handed to resident' !!!
