Awesome for the price
Had it for a couple of months. Battery on full charged will last close to 16 or even a little over depending on volume. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge a dead battery. The speaker will play a tone to notify you of low battery and a red LED indicator will start to flash once the battery is getting low. I have a S6 and set the phone volume one notch past the mid mark but have the speaker volume on max. I work in an automotive field so my environment is usually a little noisy and a big open room. From where i work i can here the music enough to get me through the day, but not full blown as to disturb my neighbor. On max volume, i can hear the song lyrics a lot clearer and the music is more noticeable. I wouldnt call it loud for my environment, but id say itll definitively disturb your neighbor if they dont like your music. As far as sound quality goes, id say its pretty decent for the size. Its no bose or klipsch but its good enough for the money, cant complain there. One thing to note is that on full volume, the speaker does distort, one reason why i dont have it on full volume and reason for one missing star. There's bass, but not punchy, nor is it distorted bass either so its decent. One thing to also note is that there is a lot of frequencies missing, but its ok, you didnt buy this for the sound quality, you're getting it for the durablity and ruggedness and battery life, at least thats my reason. All functions work flawless, never tested its water proof/resistance feature, dont care for it. Bluetooth range is awesome, 30ft sound right, no problem there. Overall, id say if you dont care for high quality sound, and want something for a "whatever" environment then this is the one, you wont be dissappointed. Remember, it aint no high end speaker so cant expect much there, but it is better then those damn cheap ones for the same price.

A nice little speaker with a good punch, though not entirely sure about the waterproof/shower claims
Summed up: i like it a lot, but the marketing/manual are at odds with each other.I was looking for something other than just another bluetooth speaker, i have several of them. I wanted something more rugged and weather resistant. This one looks to satisfy those needs. Let's have a closer look:SOUND QUALITY:Overall very impressive for such a tiny package, the highs are fairly satisfying, the lows/bass are actually a bit better than one of my other twin driver bluetooth speakers, and the mids are very punchy. Also nice is that it's very omnidirectional, it sounds good even when not pointing right at you. I was initially concerned that the grill had too tight a hole pattern, but that maybe just clips the highs a little bit, it overall sounds great.BUILD QUALITY:On one hand, it feels a bit light and plasticity, but that's actually good for traveling light. On the other, things feel well put together, the port flap is a bit weak, but that's a nitpick. And if you look at the photos, the section i'm pointing the pencil at are the only sections that are exposed hard plastic, all the other sections are a rigid rubber.Waterproof? Shockproof? Shower use? This is where the marketing team needs to slow down. the IP65 rating officially means it is dust sealed, and can resist strong water jets. That's not exactly water'proof'. Furthermore, it specifically advertises use in showers, but the last page in the manual states: "Keep the speaker away from heat and humidity". I guess that means no hot showers! If half stars were possible, i would rate it 4.5 just for the misleading/conflicting advertising. I have not tested just how waterproof/resistant it is (yet), but i do see some other reviews noting positive results in this area. I'm going to toss it in the shower and see how it fares, my wife refuses to use the bathroom vent, so it'll be %100 humidity for this fella!Disclaimer: I was given this item for free! The catch? I must review it. The explicit rule: only honest thoughts and criticisms! You rightfully should be cautious about free product reviews, if it sounds too brown-nosey, click to see the reviewers other reviews and see how critical they ever are!

awesome battery/ okay sound, terrible strap built on.
PROS-good price-loud, but not distorted-good bass for its size-waterproof!-it looks good-have literally charged it only once, when i bought it - havent needed to charge since, used it two dozen times, left it on overnight a few times, still charged! amazing!CONS-the strap broke off quickly-only 4 buttons, tough to use sometimesthe entire reason i purchased this was to strap to my backpack. I hike, i work online and often have to bicycle deliveries to the post office, and it often rains,so i wanted to be able to listen to music while biking in the rain. the strap came off from very little ware, I am very careful with my things, and the strap on this is pure crap. without it, there is no other way to attach it to something without glue. so i gave it to my mother to use on the beach. sad that it broke so quick, besides that, it is an outstanding little speaker. if you are going to use the strap, make sure you (right out of the box) reinforce the strap with glue or tape or something, or it WILL rip.

i have to say this is not a bad little speaker
i got this on sale after i lost my omaker m4. i have to say this is not a bad little speaker. Its a little louder than the m4 but it also dose not have the sound quality of the m4. the only issue i have with this speaker is you can not shut it off and save the connection like you could with the m4. when you push the power button to shut it off it first disconnects from the Bluetooth source and then shuts off which means you have to reconnect every time you turn it on.

So far this speaker seems to be put together pretty well. I've used it in the shower
So far this speaker seems to be put together pretty well. I've used it in the shower, on a float trip, and on several fishing trips. It had been dropped once into the spray of the shower and lightly rained on and still functions perfectly. It's not as loud as another Bluetooth speaker I own, but i can stop had it from about 75 yards away in the outdoor. I've ran it continuously for 5 hours without killing the battery. All in all I am pleased with this speaker.
