Pedro's Syn Lube Bicycle Chain Lubricant (4-Ounce Drip)

Pedro's syn lube is just the best for bike chains. I have used this brand for 15 years and have excellent chain and sprocket life. Chain stays wet in dust and rain. When applied every ride or 50 miles the chain stays wet with lube and does not gunk up the chain and sprockets. It may be a little more expensive than other lubes but is well worth it. Price and delivery through Amazon was right on too.

This stuff gums everything up. It attracts dirt and makes it build up in between the gears. Don't wast your money.

have been using this for 10 years, works great and does not pick up dirt. I use a drop on my fork tubes occasionally.

I won my first bike race in 1977 (unfortunately, I haven't won any since). Point is that I have been lubing for a long time. This lube is without a doubt the thickest and stickiest lube that I have ever used. It gummed up my jockey wheels very quickly to the point where the bike wouldn't shift properly. I won't use it anymore. Maybe it's better for people who are constantly riding in the wet. I do hate to bash a product, but what am I supposed to say?

Living in the South as I do, I know all about humidity and marine environments corroding and seizing up all sorts of things. I discovered this little bottle of lube when it kept my bike chain from rusting out even when I had to leave it outside in the 90+-degree, raining-every-afternoon summers of Florida when I was in college, and being poor at the time, it became my go-to oil for all sorts of things, and performed admirably every time.Maybe it's overkill, but because I never had to worry about the water rusting out my chain, I can now know for sure that the water will never rust out my Leatherman either if I put a drop or two of this in the hinges. And since it also draws grit and corrosion out of the contact points and bearing surfaces, it's not only more lubricated, but also working better than it was before.That said, keep some paper towels around, because this stuff WILL make a mess when that grit comes out of the hinge points in the oil and gets deposited onto other things, like the rest of your chain, your bike, and your clothes.

Again, Pedro's products, lubricants, and other, are among the best bike cleaning and maintenance products I have tried until today.

Not fun to clean up, but stays on well in crappy conditions. This is my goto lube when the conditions get crappy. Thanks!
