Why all the negative reviews?
Several negative reviews had me a bit concerned but like others, ordered it anyway. After checking the amp rating I didn't use a relay of any type. Came off of the boat battery positive and negative, ran positive wire through this switch then to positive on horn and it works great! My grandson loves the sound of this horn and holds the button in for several seconds at a time with no issues of any heating of wiring or horn base. Used 14 gauge wiring from battery to switch and to horn, didn't use the wiring that came with the Wolo Button, looked to be rather small for the amperage of the horn I purchased. Mine was not Gold in color as shown, it is silver.

All included!
Worked great. This is all you need to bypass your horn. Look on the back of packaging- use your car's built in relay and fuse. See pictures for example: I cut the wire after finding the right length. One line goes to the relay in the engine fuse box. The other I wrapped around a nice bolt on the side panel fuse box for the ground- this is critical, if your ground connection is poor the horn will not work! Then both are screwed in to the back of the horn button with the provided wire connectors. I recommend stripping all the ends for good connections. Finally, screw it into the dash!

Works perfectly as advertised
I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions where a little clearer. The diagram on package makes you thinknyou have to rewire everything but in reality you only need to concern yourself with the wire from relay to switch the other wiring is already completed!

Real cheap looking/feeling, but it does the job.
Pros:*Cheap(ish)*Works*Red wire*Easy to mount (2 included phillips, start shaped, head screws)*Instantaneous (no delay between pressing and sound coming out of horns)Cons:*Short wire*High gauge wire (meaning it's not very thick at all, thus more prone to fail, but likely not at this low voltage)I would recommend this to a friend.YOU WILL WANT THE FOLLOWING FOR INSTALLING:*Tape*Zip ties*Double-sided foam tape for mounting (if you don't want to drill holes into your car)

Looks great mounted on the dash of my MX 5
The horn button on my 2013 MX 5 decided to die on me. To replace stock button required removing steering wheel and the airbag. I checked with the Mazda dealer on the cost of a new airbag if this one exploded on me...... $700.00 CND replacement cost. This surface mount button was so easy to install on the dash of the Miata, and a little rewiring to the existing horn button power did the job. Now my air horn is back in business.

close to perfect
this is a large button, perfect for any horn. very easy hookup, came with everything you might need. i don't like the mounting idea of this button. either you sloppily screw it on the top of wherever, or you have to make a pretty large hole and the screws would probably still stick out, i wouldnt plan on putting this into a nice car or anything. i just set mine in the ash tray.
