These closed loop metal thumb picks work wonderfully on my autoharp. They are the best I've used. They make the strings sound much better than their plastic counterparts!

I like these picks because they hold up well and don't have a deep spade that picks on the string, which helps reduce the chances of hitting the banjo head with the pick. They don't seem to generate a lot of pick noise on the strings either.

Metal picks definitely give a brighter banjo sound. These are perfectly-shaped rolled-edge tips and great. Metal is formable and adjustable with small needle-nose pliers for a custom fit that will hold their shape.

Love this guy more than any other pick. You can get this thing so tight on your thumb. When i get going i can do some extremely fast picking with it, or use it for bass lines etc. lost mine for a while so i had to grab the 5 pack.

I WANTED A METAL THUMB PICK SO WHEN I PICK THE SAME STRING TWICE, ONCE WITH THE INDEX AND ONCE WITH THE THUMB, THE SOUND WOULD BE THE SAME BOTH TIMES. INSTEAD OF DIFFERENT AS WHEN PICKED ONCE WITH A METAL (FINGER) PICK AND ONCE WITH A PLASTIC (THUMB) PICK. THIS PICK ACCOMPLISHES MY GOAL QUITE NICELY, FITS MY THUMB VERY WELL AND SEEMS TO BE SOLID ENOUGH TO OUTLAST ME.
