KOHLERK-29709-VS Artifacts Touchless Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer, Kitchen Sink Faucet in Vibrant Stainless

Product looks nice and I believe all the parts are there; however, what I didn't like how the product came to me. After I opened the box, the inside tray that house the faucet was damaged and on the inside of the box was a message that appear to be written by a child saying, "I love you." The "love" word was a heart symbol. It was a beautiful message, but when you spend almost $1000 for a product, you expect it to be in a new unused box and wrapped with care. So, because of this, I'm not sure if I will be keeping the product. But I do appreciate the message.

I bought this in satin nickel for an upscale kitchen remodel in a Spanish colonial home. It’s paired with a Kingston Brass sd1976 American Classic soap dispenser, a 36” Kohler Whitehaven apron sink smack in the center of a 14’ x 5’ island topped with Hanstone Chantilly Quartz. That’s a big island with striking but subtle veining, so it’s hard to find a faucet that adds enough interest and scale but doesn’t also go overboard as a LOOK AT ME faucet. This Artifacts design is perfection. It’s timeless without being kitsch and just plain pretty to look at.As for function, it ticks all the boxes. The spray head is heavy, the buttons quality, the spray patterns are useful, and the lever is easy to turn on/off and adjust temp with the back of your wrist while cooking. I tried a sensor faucet before this one and found the feature useless because 1) guests didn’t know how to use it and giving everyone a tutorial was a pain and 2) the kitchen faucet is a place where you are constantly adjusting temp so manual operation was still a must. So I went back to basics here and don’t regret it.I’ve had this faucet installed over 6mo now and am still extremely happy with it in a very heavily used kitchen. Installation was also straightforward and simple compared to faucets you pick up at the big box stores.

The Kohler artifacts faucet is a rare combination of beauty and practicality. It has a classic look, reminiscent of a traditional two-handle arched faucet, with modern conveniences like one hand operation and three extremely functional spray modes.Two primary modes, can toggle back and forth between:Normal aerated - standard bubbly faucet flowShower - a consistent cone of spray, well aerated and gentle enough to not damage fruits and veggies. The evenly distributed spray makes it useful for rinsing soap off of large items without spraying water everywhere, like colanders, large pots, etc. I prefer this option most of the time.On-demand mode (hold button to engage)High pressure "sweep" mode. This mode offers a line of very powerful, thin streams of water. Think of it like a broom made of water, excellent for sweeping out the bottom of the sink or blasting away stuck on food. Used on full force this will splatter everywhere as it is very high intensity. I've found this mode extremely useful.The handle functions smoothly and it's easy to get a trickle of water if desired.The pictures represented online do not accurately depict the faucet colors in person for the Vibrant Nickel and Vibrant Stainless options.I ordered Vibrant Nickel as i have nickel fixtures throughout my kitchen. The VN has a very amber, almost brown background color. It does not match anything traditionally considered nickel AT ALL. It is almost like a very shiny chrome layered over a pale oil rubbed bronze background. It is beautiful, but looks very different in person.The vibrant stainless looks very dark and almost charcoal in the pictures. In person it is a light, bright, brushed finish stainless that matches appliances and nickel knobs alike. It is a quite standard stainless, not shaded and dark as the pictures indicate. It looks quite nice, though it does show fingerprints somewhat. That said it hides water spots much better than the chrome or vibrant nickel.My original search for a timelessly beautiful yet modern faucet ended in compromise. The grohe ladylux3 cafe I settled for wound up leaking all over my cabinets and counters causing a huge mold problem. Thankfully Amazon honored the warranty when the manufacturer failed to. The Artifacts would have been my first choice had it existed at the time, and its functionality has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.Edit: I have used this top-handle model, and the K-99259 which is the side-handle model. They both work great. I personally prefer the top handle as it is ever so slightly easier to use, though I have opted for the side handle as the Vibrant Stainless was not in stock with Prime shipping. After the Grohe disaster I am making sure to purchase directly from Amazon and not 3rd parties.

I love the style and had this installed when I remodeled my kitchen in November 2019. This week the handle broke off. I’m waiting to see if Koehler will send a replacement part. Before this, my Moen faucet lasted 17 years. Had the quality been better, I would have given it 4 stars.Update: I contacted Kohler and they sent me a new handle at no charge. They promptly responded. I was impressed with the customer service.

Great fixture. I ordered two to replace our old ones. Love the 3 spray settings. Great quality product and fast delivery.

Not worth the money. Faucets half this process don’t have this many problems. The fauxets regular setting spits out the sides and doesn’t have a solid stream.

We ordered this in Polished Nickel to match the finishes in our new kitchen. This faucet is stunning and functions perfectly. It truly is Kitchen Jewelry.

Gorgeous faucet. Pricey but worth it in my opinion. Great weight to the handle too. Spray functions are are very handy and easy to use.

Beautiful faucet! I do not have it installed yet but I know it will be a nice touch in any kitchen.
